I'm so glad for Bayern. At least now we are going to watch real football without all those drama ( don't touch me or I'm gonna break down in pain and agony ) queens from Real or Barca.

And Ramos, NFL called. They need someone to show them how to score a free kick ( or whatever it is called, correct me ).

Heheh, fuck Ramos and fuck Real. Only player I really respect there is Casillas.

Great saves by the two keepers there. Neuer catching the first two penalties, EPIC.

Neuer was amazing. Fuck it, the match was amazing. Btw, this was posted on SomethingAwful and promptly stolen for my facebook:

Quote:
"The best team ever" have officially been resigned to a footnote in history tonight. I'm convinced they're past their peak now and are finished and it's fucking glorious. Cheating cunts never prosper in the end. Fuck UEFA, fuck the Qatar Foundation, fuck Mes Que un Club, fuck blood doping and "hormone injections", fuck white handkerchiefs, fuck "Pep" and his shitty skinny ties, fuck that Argie bottling midget asshole, fuck playing 9 central midfielders, fuck 85% possession, fuck the "Camp Nou", fuck getting players yellow cards, fuck crowding the ref, fuck diving and claiming to be pure...You can stick Unicef and those pair of cunts Puyol and Pique right up your arse too, absolute fucking dogshit.

Gary Lineker: "This just in, Sergio Ramos' penalty ball just landed!"

i did read an article that made a decent point in his defence, though. Neuer saved Ronaldo and Kaka's penalties, and Sergio Ramos could have been worried he'd save his shot too, if he aimed for the lower corners, so he tried the much harder shot for the top, which as we know didn't quite work out as planned.

EDIT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EN843Q1ajc

poor guy, it's already worse than when John Terry slipped on his penalty kick in 2008

EDIT 2: Image

Predictions, regarding Liverpool ?!?!
No fucking way, a team that can beat anyone and can loose to amateurs two days later. This also applies to FC Chelsea this season. If they decide to play it could be a great match, otherwise

I'm guessing... you're a United person? Haha!

I reckon it's gonna be a REALLY boring match.

I have sympathies for Liverpool, much more than Chelsea, although I was glad they kicked Barca out of CL. I'm just saying they're both not too convincing this whole season and if they decide to play it safe it's going to be one boring match ( see City - United clash a few days ago ). Let' s hope not.

RSC Anderlecht, the local team here, won its 31st competition today via a penalty kick in the 93rd minute. Epic! Yet another reason to support Bayern is that if said team wins the CL, Anderlecht qualifies straightaway for next year's CL.

RADAMEL FALCÃO, besides having the coolest name ever for a striker (it's Portuguese for Falcon, he's named after the Brazilian who during his days at AS Roma became known as the 8th King of Rome), is also one of the world's best strikers. i used to see him as an excellent poacher in the vein of Pippo Inzaghi, but this season he has been so much more than that.

he'd be a starter in just about any team in the world right now.

I agree. What performance from him last night. he's going to be one awsome catch if he doesn't decide to stay in Madrid.

Falcao was fucking awesome last night. Almost want to buy him in FM2012 but Mario Balotelli, Eren Derdiyok, Kenny Miller and Robbie Keane will start getting jealous. Hah.

You bought Balotelli with Aberdeen?

...

Yeah, that makes sense actually.

Cost me an arm and a leg, but I could do it after I arranged to be a feeder club to Man City. He's a fucking nightmare though, one time I dared to downgrade his squad status from "key player" to "important first team player" and he threw a hissy fit and stopped talking to me. Morale went way low and he was shit on the pitch. So I reloaded my save and left his fucking squad status the way it was. Twat.

Mario Twatotelli. Even in-game, he's a moron.
Maybe I'll launch a FM game soon. Maybe even with Aberdeen, sounds like a fun challenge. What are your results ? (you can reply in the "Now gaming thread" if you like)

First off, I cheated a little bit- I went in to the editor and tweaked with my transfer budget so I could actually sign some players. I've built up a pretty decent squad, that I rotate depending on which of my three great tactics I'm using. My main one is a 4-2-2-2 where the attacking midfielders act as wingers, moving between the midfield and the forwards, so I've always got 4 options in the midfield and in the box. My best results with that formation were probably beating Bayern 6-2 in a pre-season friendly and smashing Ekranas 8-1 in a champions league qualifier. The other two tactics are still being developed, and I'm not sure if I'll keep them for that long- one is a recreation of 1974 Ajax total football, 4-3-3, with the two back wingers acting as attacking midfielders and the midfield and forwards swapping positions when they need to. Doesn't always work, but if you play it against rigid 442s they won't know what hit them. Best result was 3-1 against Celtic. Last tactic is an imitation of Mourinho's approach with Porto; a very rigid, down the line 4-1-2-1-2. Not quite sure if I like it enough, I may need to change it to something else. Haven't had any noticeable results with it yet.

I've built up a nice hefty squad so far:
Keepers: Diego Benaglio, Allan McGregor
Left wing backs: Charlie Mulgrew, Reto Ziegler.
Right wing backs: Steven Whittaker, Philip Degen, Timothy Chandler.
Center backs: Johan Djorou, Phillip Senderos, Marius Zaliukas (former Hearts captain, famous for being rowdy and punching a Kilmarnock player in the face), Daniel Majstorovic.
Left back: Patrick Kohlmann (from Celtic)
Right back: Mark Wilson (from Celtic)
Defensive midfielder: Gökhan Inler (he's amazing, consistently scores goals on the rebound with the first tactic), Ariel Dempsyiuk (or something, not sure on the name), Michael Bradley
Center midfielders: Valon Behrami, Scott Brown, Jonathan de Guzman.
Attacking midfielders: Tranquillo Barnetta, Xherdan Shaqiri (he's unbelievable, so fast and so precise), Kris Commons, Landon Donovan (also acts as striker), Ravel Morrison, Clint Dempsey (also acts as striker).
Forwards: Mario Balotelli, Steven Fletcher, Kenny Miller, Robbie Keane, Giuseppe Rossi, Eren Derdiyok (FANTASTIC player, if he plays in Total Football he's great at winging and crossing).

Very happy with the squad, but I should let go of some of the auld Aberdeen players (Fraser Fyvie, Ryan Jack, etc) because Zaliukas and Majstorovic kept complaining that there were too many central defenders in the squad, but I need at least 4 home grown players to compete in the Champions league... Sucks.

How about Courtois, would he feature as well?
