We've heard nothing of the sort here. Only 17 injured. Business as usual.

In other news, Rangers have had their CVA application rejected and are getting liquidated. Next step is to see if the newly formed club gets directly voted in to the SPL or will have to start from the bottom.

That would make the SPL even more irrelevant.

In other news, PSG wants Thiago Silva + Zlatan Ibrahimovic for €77M. God bless Qatar.

Breaking up the Old Firm can only be a good thing. More wealth to spread around to other teams and all that.

It seems that great egos and jealousy are a big problem in Dutch team these days. If I were a betting man I would put my money on Germans. We shall see, should be an interesting match.

Portugal won! :D

again, surprisingly good display. scoreline wasn't better because Ronaldo missed two absolute sitters.

Deutschland is looking geat.

The Irish support is wonderful. They're down 4-0 and all you can hear in the stadium is Fields of Athenry, over and over, strong as anything. They are the real winners here.

Seriously, that gave me goosebumps. I wasn't even watching the ball anymore, all you got from that was Irish atmosphere. Wonderful, truly fantastic.

incredible fans. then again i get the impression that the fans' devotion is inversely proportional to what people expect the team to achieve.

Postiga scored, true. he's crap but he's much better than Hugo Almeida, who is all brawn and little else. Nélson Oliveira has to learn to release the ball sooner.

i'm also very happy for Torres... he works hard and showed at Atlético and and Liverpool that he is a world-class forward.

haters gonna hate

Haha, nice picture :D

Tonight is group D. Ukraine vs. France, England vs. Sweden. I have a baaaaaad feeling about this. Ukrainians turn out to be no pushovers, they're playing at home and Shevshenko (or whatever it is spelled in english) is on fire (and perhaps also on steroids). AND, our defensemen are shit.

I don't see France winning this one. As for the other match, let's see if England wants to start playing football in this one. HA.

Solid France, and the match was OK. I'm satisfied with the guys, great Ribéry, Benzema and Cabaye :dio:

And now, Swe-Eng.
