An offline draft like next year would be fine, we'd need to start around 25 days before the season starts (23 rounds, a round a day). Unless you guys want a change in the roster size.

Still, the fantasy football (aussie rules) season is just ending, and it's a few months before the fantasy cricket season starts, so frankly this suits my fantasy sport schedule perfectly.

Honestly, I think we should start drafting as soon as the new season goes live (usually happens end of August/beginning of September). I swear though, if there is a lockout I will kill things.

TTD: the NHL.com website is a goldmine, data-wise. Just check about injuries before picking somebody, and you'll be fine.

edit: do you guys have (real) buddies who can join us? having 10 people would be great. I don't have anyone, I have no friends, nobody likes me. And one Frenchman in the pool is enough anyway.

Seriously, athletes in North America are such little cry babies.

The professional athletes in Australian leagues make a tiny fraction of what North American athletes make, and when I say tiny fraction, I mean our HIGHEST paid athletes make a tiny fraction.

And you know what? We have never had a lock-out in any of our major leagues. Because Australians stop crying over bullshit and get on with it!
