Just saw Harry Potter. It was excellent. Other than everything they left out and stuff.

Over all great film.

I'll be taking my daughter to see that one this weekend. We're really looking forward to seeing it.

We caught Transformers last week. The special effects/CGI in that movie are just spectacular. Optimus Prime rules! :dio:
I don't think i'd suggest younger children seeing it. It's really not as funny as the others, and it's alot more dark than the other films. Last night there were too many young kids just talking, getting up and going to the bathroom every 5 minutes because they were bored.

I loved the film though.

Hey Cara,

If you can believe it, my daughter is 15! I know. I'm an old fart. She'll enjoy it. I know what you mean when people take little ones in to see HP films ( or nay film really rated PG-13 or R). Obviously some parents don't read because if they did they would know that these films are becoming darker and more mature with each installment.

Transformers - 7/10
I wasn't expecting much but it was still entertaining

Live Free of Die Hard - 8/10
it was faithful to the rest of the series, great action and lots of fun.

1408 - 8/10
Cusack was simply awesome in this movie. His acting was so enthralling and contagious, it was like we were in that room with him.

High Fidelity - 9.5/10
I've seen this movie for the umpteen time, and never tire of it. It has a great message delivered with a great script and great comedic sense. John Cusack was born for this role.

Wow. hahaha, I'm only 16! That's kind of funny

I'm sure you'll both enjoy it then :)

But yeah, for sure. I think the next movie will be the darkest of the intallments.

Just got back from Harry Potter 5. I thought it was great (and this coming from someone who thinks that all the movies have been shit save 3, which was passable). Hell, in many places it was better than the book. I'd especially like to commend the adult cast- everyone was perfect (save for Dumbledore, once again)- but this is the type of movie I'd buy. Reccomended.

Tape - for a movie that seemed like it could have been shot by 4 people in a motel room in one night this was pretty awesome... based on a play, so lots of talking but it manages to be interesting start to finish.

Both Wicker Man movies. The original's ending was beautiful in it's creepiness. As for the remake, Nicolas Cage should have stopped making movies after the 80s.

Harry Potter. Definately the best of all of the movies. It was great how they could alot more in due to the book being a bit slower and less focused on the action. Though they left out Harry's massive tantrum at the end :lame: but overall, definately a great movie.

I thought Face Off was lame. I couldn't get past the improbable and retarded premise of the movie.

The Rock was cool and I forgot all about it. I wouldn't say it was good because of Nicolas Cage though (ie: Sean Connery is always cool.)

Footloose, another classic I never tire of. Can't believe they actually want to remake this movie...it's unthinkable.

Im usualy able to look past the scientific stupidity of the movie, its the same way I do when i watch a sci-fi movie. Sure the idea of trading faces was sort of foolish, but the movie was well shot, well written within its frame work. In the begining and end, Travolta and Cage did a great job of pretending to be eachother, which was my favorite bit of acting in the movie. The action sequences were done well too.

I agree. Face Off and The Rock are two of the best action movies I've seen, Con Air too.
