Wow, I suck at this. 2/6 here too.

Anyone else wanted Couture/Noguiera to go two more rounds? That fight was very good.

For the most part, I went with the picks you posted. So I did not do very good at all. We have our own makeshift betting thing and my cousin in-law who only comes to the fights like 3 or 4 times a year won the pot again. Not only did he win, but he dominated. I don't get it, when you talk to him he barely has a clue about any of the fighters yet he always has way more points than anybody else. meh...

Well, I'm guessing he's likely going with the fighter that you guys are all betting against or what have you. I mean, you couldn't really LOGICALLY pick Rosholt, I mean he had a shot to win of course, but it's not something anyone would really be able to call out.

I'm not really upset about it, it's MMA, anyone can win, I was just on a bit of a tear for a bit that I was considering betting online with Bodog or something, glad I kept it small and with my friends because I'm out 40 bucks this card. lol.

Don't sweat it, you'll get him next time.

My dad and I say this every month, then he comes back and kicks our asses again.

And it's not like he purposely picks the opposite as us, we try to keep all our picks a secret until the fights start and nobody can change them after they sign their name.

At least when he wins, it gives him motivation to come back next month. Plus we have a rule that the winner has to buy the next case of beer.

I'll watch it, but I'm not a fan. The sport is a mess. I prefer kickboxing, personally, particularly K-1.

lol, well at least next time you'll be up a case of beer, Walnut.

I've come to the realization that in a few years, I won't know any boxers. Haha. It's just a complete mess. There are few—if any—greats in the making.

The sad reality is that, though we love MMA, it's only a matter of time before it becomes like boxing. The UFC cannot hang on to the monopoly for long. Eventually another organization will really do well. Strikeforce seems to be doing things right. But we all saw the shitty boxing promoters dipping their willies in the EliteXC bucket. Those same kinds of asshats will eventually ruin MMA.

Pac should prove to be too fast for Cotto and beat him silly. Likely a UD or TKO via towel. The same for the Gayweather fight.

But Cotto can bang, and Pac's chin is questionable, so I could see a Cotto win via KO. Not a UD, though. I don't think Cotto is fast enough.

Pac vs. Gayweather is what I want to see. Doubt Floyd will ever take that fight, though. He's not a fighter.

I don't want to agree with you but your logic is impeccable...

Cotto is one of my favourite fighters, right behind Roy Jones Jr. If only Roy had Cotto's balls and be willing to take on Bernard Hopkins...

I would just love to see Marquez beating PBF to a pulp. But, once again, highly improbable.

A lot of them are trying out acting.

Couture in a couple movies.

Rampage in A-Team.

Cung Le in a couple movies.

Now Huarta going to do whatever.

Oh, and that horrible movie that stars Anderson Silva, BJ Penn, GSP, Rampage, and a couple other MMA guys. What a terrible movie...

Huerta will make more money acting than he will fighting. As far as I know he's done fighting for at least awhile after he finally is done with his UFC contract. I predict he'll be laid on by Gray Maynard for 3 rounds and be shown the door.

I think the lesson is, if your voice isn't deemed "manly" enough, you will be dubbed, and essentially become a muscled up prop.

That's pretty much all he did in Big Stan. Except, he was a muscled up prop that liked to rape rapists and child molestors.

Haha, I still need to see that, at least so I can get my Olivia Munn fix.

Because of this thread, I started watching Scorpion King 2 last night. Haha. I've had it for ages (got it through SwapaDVD), but never watched it. It is soooooo cheesy! Couture is horrifying as an actor. That would be bad enough, but everyone else in the movie, right down to the narrator, sucks balls. Haha.

Couture is even doing some MMA moves when sparring with someone. TKO via arm bar!
