Do elaborate, please.

No need. No time for flamewars. I made that comment based on posts from recent days. I love you all. =)

By the way, Strikeforce shows the world how to compete with UFC:

Well, I personally never made any claim to be an expert on the subject, far from it. In fact I recently pointed out that I am in fact something of a newbie, having only been following it for a little under a year. I like watching it, and learning about it is half the fun.
My picks for this one were actually pretty accurate, this time around...well, except for Franklin.

I'd like to know why we don't know anything. Because you think so? Or did we actually say something that is wrong?

I think it's because he is full of himself, and if somebody says something he doesn't agree with then it is wrong.

It has nothing to do with disagreeing. It has to do with how some of you boast about being so knowledgeable yet clearly aren't. Ever since UFC really got popular, the same thing happens everywhere. New MMA fans try to pretend like they've been "down since day one." Then they have no idea who Ken Shamrock is.

Nothing wrong with being new fans, or newish fans, but just keep it real.

Who says I was even talking about you? And how old are you, by the way? You've been watching UFC since the mid-90s? Pffft!

Well, then who are you talking about? Who is beating their chest in this thread?
There are only about three or four of us that even post here, so, enlighten us as to just who you are referring to.
Not that I really give a damn, but if you are going to be so bold as to say such a thing, you should at least dispense with the pussyfooting around.

pffft all you want, but yes I have been watching since the mid-90s. Me and my dad. We couldn't get them on PPV where we lived, so we had to wait for them to come out on home video. When they did, we bought them. Eventually we stopped buying and started renting until they weren't even available and you had to special order them. I'm not going to say that I've seen every UFC from UFC 1 to UFC 103, but I have seen more than 60-70% of them. Not mention Fights Nights, TUF, Pride, Strikeforce, etc. So before you go around saying how great you are because you've been watching the sport for so long and how inferior we are because you think we just started watching last year, you should do some homework.

Now I know you're lying. VHS copies of 90s UFC events sold for $100. Bullshit you guys bought those.

As for my other comments, there is no "pussy-footing around." It's called "not starting a flamewar."

in the 90's you could walk into almost any rental store and buy them/rent them. They weren't $100 a piece back then. I really don't care if you believe me or not.

"When they did, we bought them."

You said, you bought them. You could rent them; that's how I saw them. But I never bought them because they cost $95. That is a fact.

You have been clowned.

Wrong. Never called anyone stupid. I said some pretend to have more knowledge than they do. That doesn't equate to stupid.

And you lied about watching the UFC since the mid-90s, at least in terms of buying them. I watched my first UFC in 1996. I believe it was #6, when Tank Abbot fought that 400lb Hawaiin and blasted him. I immediately went online to order the VHS, and it was $95. That's how much a lot of specialty items cost on VHS back then and earlier.

So no, you didn't buy them, at least not then. Stop lying.

He said his dad did, maybe his dad didn't mind paying that much for them. Maybe he found them for cheaper than you did. What the fuck do you care?

For not trying to start flamewars, you sure are making a lot of inflammatory statements lately.

We have a store here called Bandito Video that has all those hard to find movies. That's what they specialize in, they either had them on the shelf or gave you a deal on ordering them. Again, I don't care if you believe me on this or not but it is true.

I made one comment and then suggested we drop. Just my opinion, you know. But no one dropped it. I was forced into this.

He can prove it with pictures and receipts from Bandito Video. =)
