Naw I defused the bomb and got a free house from the sheriff. Currently trying to find that Family that stole the kid from the town on the bridge. Looked everywhere, can I find them? Can I arse.

You can ask Evan King where he thinks the Family are hiding out; you'll get three location markers on your map. Spoiler: it's the westernmost, the metro station.

I did, and checked them all out! Maybe I'll take another look at the metro station, though I can only remember finding some mutant bombmaker down there. There was a locked prison cell at thingy's hideout, and the banditos down there didn't have the key, is that at all significant?

There's a hidden passage in the bombmakers place. I think he reveals it after you talk a bit. Otherwise just check out the room with the radioactive barrels and shit.

Thing that sucks about Fallout 3 is I spent ages becoming an evil motherfucker, then progressing the story made me neutral again

Ah yeah, there's a hatch down to the metro tunnels in the small room with the barrels. It's the hideout with the two Ghouls asking you for sugar bombs to make a super drug, right?

Finished Heavenly Sword last week, it was fun but way too short, the game suffers from not having a dedicated block button and to a lesser extent from missing a jump button, but still the combat mechanics work well, it never got boring but with a game this short (5 to 6 hrs) it would really had to suck to be boring, best part were the cinematics, Andy Serkis voice work and acting was excellent, just take a look at this cutscene:

Also finished Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools Of Destruction, this game was fucking awesome, nothing much more left to say, this is your typical Ratchet game, tons of weapons, everything is upgradable and can also be leveled up, plus you have gadgets, devices and armors, feels like every ten minutes youre upgrading something, the weapons are crazy and very inventive, the RYNO IV (Rip You a New One IV) specially rocks, if i had to say something bad about this game is that its easy, im currently playing it on challenge mode and it still feels easy, but whatever the game is still fun and also fvery funny.

Oh, I thought I read Behemoth in there sorry karma, goat.

Goat, that one ghoul that's not a doctor has a powerfull armor you'd want for yourself. You will have to kill him of course.

Cheers Karmo, amazes me how people remember all that detail. Nerd  .

My character's nice, Thom! I'm not going to just start killing people, ugly as they may be, to take their armour!

Best armour when you do a lot of sneaking is the Chinese Stealth Suit, anyway. You don't need anything else, but it might get a bit too easy using it.

Nice man, I share the same thoughts on Heavenly Sword. I wasn't a fan the first time through but the second was better. I like that the studios next game has a similar main character. I could be wrong but for Ratchet you might have to set the difficulty up manually when selecting challenge mode. I could be wrong though.

Since work is so scarce here I may have to start whoring myself out on the corner, but I fear the drug dealers may skimp on the payments. I'd be like a faggy version of that chic in the Metallica video.

It was the same with MW1 and WaW. The maps are getting increasingly complex, which makes the experience more rewarding, I think. I mean, I'm still figuring out special spots on some MW1 maps after nearly two years of nearly daily playing.

Bought this today. I'm having a hard time getting enough players for my other games, so I decided to get a 2-player game. It looks awesome.

Been playing some more Assassins Creed 2. It's really great and this time around I actually want to complete it and many of the sidequests as well.

Also bought Osmos on the Steam sale. Cool little game that is.

So, what is it? A board games version of the pc game? What I gather from reading the reviews sounds similar to it. Tell me (us) when you've played it, because it sounds exactly the sort of thing I'm looking after for the youth club to acquire.

I caught a sale on used games today which worked out to 'buy 2 get 1 free'. So, I picked up Gears of War 2, Bioshock, and Dead Space for xbox 360.

Well it's not a board game version of the pc game. I guess they're pretty similar, but the board game is much more focused on castle siege. One player defends and one invades. If the invader destroys one length of the defender's wall, he wins. The defender has about 8-10 lengths of wall where he can place a few archers and melee units plus stuff like cauldrons or strengthened walls. I think it's almost impossible for the defender to hold out for 10 turns (the duration of the game.) But at the end of the game you add up all the glory points (glory points are received each turn the defender survives and/or performs certain tasks) and the player who has the most wins.

I've only played two games so far. The first one was 1v1 and the second one 2v1. It's definitely much more fun when played with more than two players. But the fact that you can play it with only two players is a great thing.
