I have a sense of humour, but those movies were just awful. Complete trash aimed at the lowest common denominator. Good comedy should also have something to say, neither of those movies did. And I liked Talladega Nights,a nd the 40 Year Old Virgin, but's Judd's been striking out recently.

And oh yeah, like Talladega Nights had such a profound message...[/quote]

I didn't say it did, but it was done by the same director. But enjoy your shitty teen comedy, no skin off my ass. Geeze, I didn't know Superbad was some sort of pinnacle of filmmaking that was beyond reproach.

Funny Games ('97)

It was alright. Pretty disturbing, some black humor. Not a whole lot of on-screen violence (by no means a bad thing).

Donnie Darko - Gotta watch it again, didnt get it all lol.

A Clockwork Orange - One of the best movies ever? probably my 5th time watching it.

Gantz (first three discs) - Interesting enough, crappy english dub though.

Repeat viewing won't help.

Either:
a] make up your own interpretation
b] read someone else's online

then:
c] act like your smarter than everyone else because you 'get' it.

Speaking of movies open to interpretation, what about Eraserhead?
Strange flick, to say the least.

I rather like it, myself.
IMO, better than Suspiria.

Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?
Stellar cast, stellar performances all around, especially Burton.
They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I wasn't aware it was out of production yet.
Regarding inferno vs. Suspiria, I thought that the surrealism that Argento was shooting for was better defined.
The sets, colors (of course) and the general feeling of being caught in a dream-world surpass that of Suspiria, IMO, of course, which is in and of itself a beautifully done film.
Have Deep Red, Tenebre, Cat 'o Nine Tails, Suspiria, Opera, Inferno and Four Flies on Grey Velvet.
Tenebre and Inferno being the most to my liking.

I just got done watching "Meet the spartans" (luckily through a streaming link from google video). Even though I had quite liked Epic Movie, after watching the trailer I had very low expectations from this one. However, even that was not enough to prepare me for what I was going to watch which is easily one of the worst movies I've seen during the last years. I have no problem with parodies and spoofs, I've watched most of their other movies like Date movie, Epic movie and some Scary Movies and I accepted them for what they were but this is abysmally bad. For your own good, please don't pay to watch this and at the same time help the producers make more of this crap.

I thought Donnie travelled back, then allowed himself to be killed so that wossname and the others would all be alright...

3:10 To Yuma - Not bad, but crap ending.

Edit: Aaron?!
