If he says it doesn't matter cuz people will buy guns anyways, then he says the deathcount must be either exactly the same. Since that is HIGHLY unlikely, since it's a number that runs into 10000s, and he doesn't think it will cause more victims, he implies there are going to be less.

so... do you really believe that ppl without guns kill more than ppl with guns? If u want to kill another man with your bare hands it takes lots of guts, psycholical problems etc. While ppl shooting with guns are more likely to act spontaneously without using the head. U can prevent deaths by making guns/weapons illigal, no matter how u look at it

Well, if guns were illegal/restricted/whatever, I just think that all these gangstaaz/criminals/whatever would find a way to get guns anyways, leading a bunch of innocent people with no real way to defend themselves if someone broke into their home.

yes some would... but isn't it more safe to not having a gun, anyway? if someone did break into your house (with a gun) why not just let the insurance company and the police handle the situation, instead of exchanging gunfire with them, endangering your own life even further by playing hero?
Anyway, according to the figures i have seen, there's almost twice as many ppl that commit suicide with guns than there's ppl getting killed by others. Mind you, it's way too easy to kill somebody with a gun, just pull the trigger - and bang, you're dead. It's easier than slitting your own wrist or another guys throat in so many ways.

besides... how about all the innocent ppl without a gun? They have no real way of defending themselves when a random lunatic happens to have a gun because it's legal either, now, do they?

There were murders before guns and there are murders now. All Im saying is that if you truly want to kill someone you do not need a gun.

I doubt you'd be able to get to the phone, call the police, and wait for them to arrive when someone's waving a gun in your face. It takes time for the police to get to the situation - time that you may not really have.

People will kill themselves anyhow, with or without a gun. They'd find other methods.

It's hard to make this world a safe place, so I don't really know if it'd be safer if people carried guns everywhere, and there are a lotta fucknuts out there, but at least people wouldn't be sitting ducks if they happen to cross the path of a said fucknut in a dark alley or something.

Anyhow, Just look at ppl in other countries. Sure we have violent gangs as well etc, but since they have no guns they ussually "just" stick with beating the crap out of ppl.


Do you really need a gun if you a meet fucknut? why not just stick with pure selfdefense, pepper spray or a tazer?
and no, it's not hard to make the world safer. Just make guns illigal, and that's it. Again, just compare with other industrialized countries where guns are illigal, we don't have those problems, nor do we experience nearly as many homicides etc.
Of course, you can do whatever you want in your country, i really don't care what's going on there, but i do think the gun policy is stupid as fuck
