Aaron was busy with school (and I think he lost interest in metal, from what he said last time he came back). Misha's working and studying, ditto Daniel (and he's pretty non-metal now).

It's interesting to see how often people who were mainly into black metal go completely non-metal. I've seen this several times, not only on these boards. On the other hand, I've never seen it with people who are strongly into traditional metal. Would any of you picture Brahm, Radagast or The Voice going non-metal? Any ideas why this happens?
Let this be a warning to you Mintrude.

I like that I'm being thought of as one of the resident BM heads :)

There's one Strokes song which reminds me so much of black metal because of the fuzzy tone.

I can't remember the name. It was from This Is It, if that helps.

Hmm, we have all their CDs, so I'll try to find it.

I like everyone. If I had to pick, maybe Misha, Cara, Charles - Daniel used to be on that list, but I haven't talked to him in the longest time. And Zad for being a really friendly guy.

Az, Zad, Ken etc etc....everyones got their own ideas and perspective.

About the Black Metal thingy, I think it's quite common. I think they listen to too much evil until they got sick of it, and bailed out.

Here in Malaysia, many people listen to BM as starters and get all kvlt about it. They get so obsessed with BM that they don't explore other genres, or rarely do. I know a few people who DONT KNOW Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Manowar etc but they are Venom worshippers. 5 years down the road and they throw in the towel. Like someone mentioned earlier, this rarely, or never happens to anyone who listens to traditional metal.

I'm a big BM fan, but my roots started with Deep Purple, Sabbath, Priest and Maiden. I might bail out of Black Metal in the future, but I don't see myself not listening to Maiden anymore, or any other bands that got me into this hell. Classics always rule!!!

First and foremost the Walnut is my favourite. But I also like Zad because he always has something to say. Plus the Voice has helped me get into several different bands. And Holy Terror how can you not love him?

Hey this is to the Voice, that was not my parents you were talking to.

Hi guys, I like love you all. I just came back on for the first time in a month or two and there's so many threads scattered about that weren't here when I left I'm finding it a daunting ordeal to know where to post. Plus I know when I sign back off I probably won't be back on in a while again.

So yeah I miss this place but I just never find the time to be on the internet now unless I'm writing reviews.
