I must check out this Idiocracy movie.

I pretty much agree with that list, although I think Semi-Pro, Blades of Glory, and Talladega Nights were all about equally shitty. Also I don't get why everyone loves that Zooey Deschanel so much. She is pretty hot in an indie/artsy kind of way, but there are lots of hot girls so...

Anyways, watched Old School and it was hilarious. Also saw The Dark Knight and it was as awesome as I expected it to be. I REALLY want to see it again in IMAX, supposed to be amazing.

I own Idiocracy, its a good movie (7/10) the first half of the movie is awesome, but the final half is all over the place hit and miss. Having a message is all fine and good, but a comedy should be funny first and foremost.

Will Ferrell's worst movie (Blades of Glory) is also a 7/10 for me.

Has anyone seen Melinda and Melinda or Winter Passing with Will Ferrell? Both movies of course have comedic moments but are more drama than anything. Both movies are more like his role in Stranger Than Fiction.

Saw Melinda And Melinda, not one of Woody's best by a mile. Forgot Ferrell was in that, he wasn't dreadful.

I haven't seen Melinda and Melinda but I have seen Winter Passing. Again, I love Zooey, but the film was pretty bland. It was like they were purposefully trying to make it as "indie" as possible. Will Ferrell was unremarkable in it, Ed Harris was great though.

Idiocracy sucked. it's premise could have been good, but it's jokes were lame and not funny (they reminded me of when newer Simpson's episodes try to make comments about society or whatever).

Shoot 'Em Up is one of the coolest fucking films ever, how can you beat killing a guy with a carrot, or when a baby is being born he shoots off the umbilical cord?

Also, I saw Hellboy 2. It was pretty good, a lot better than the first one. Could have been a lot more successful if it wasn't released at the same time as Dark Knight/Hancock.

I watched it drunk with some idiot who kept saying things like, 'that's not very realistic'. I told him to shut the fuck up within minutes.
