Awesome! I totally look forward to this one now.

YES! I'm so glad you said that SM. My wife and I are going to try and see it this weekend.

Its IMO his best movie since Anchorman, which was also done up with Adam Mckay, those 2 should just work together from now on for comedy.

Saw Stepbrothers last night as well. Easily Ferrell's best movie since Anchorman, and I might go so far as to say it was as good as Anchorman. Reilly was a big part of it, too, though, so you've got to give him a lot of credit as well.

I've been watching a lot of movies lately, but I've also seen:

The Usual Suspects: Amazing
The Sandlot: Cute
Bowfinger: A few really funny parts but okay mostly.

Why can't Eddie Murphy make funny movies anymore? He's a funny guy, he just gets shitty scripts. also, I drove half an hour to see Dark Knight in Imax only to find that it was sold out, so I drove an hour total for nothing. Ah well, I'll see it next week...seen it already but it's supposed to be amazing in Imax.

Dude, come on he killed the last dude by holding bullets between his fingers and shoving his hand in fire to make the bullets fire at the guy. 'Nuff said.

They're now writing the script for an Anchorman sequel set in the 80s.

Just watched: 10 Things I Hate About You. Tolerable for a teenager-oriented movie.

Man, The Dark Knight was close to perfect. The Two-Face effect was unbelievably good if maybe just a little too over-the-top (what, his eye and tongue didn't burn?).

Ledger's performance really was terrific. Odd thing is I went home the same night and saw a bit of a film he was in called Candy. After seeing him stab people in the godamn eye followed by sobibng while cradling a stillborn fetus I'll maybe have to concede the fucker could act a bit.

I liked that movie. I enjoy realistic, ie: tragic, portrayals of drug use.

saw the new batman movie, yesterday. The best batman movie i have seen - haven't seen batman begins, yet. Ledger's performance was awsome indeed, and he is quite possible the most awsome villain in any movie I have ever seen - a shame he won't be returning.

[now there's a pencil, now it's gone, stuck in the brain of a gang member] " Tadaaaa!!" - pure magic, and an instant classic.

all in all, it is the first time i can say that i enjoyed a batman movie. The old batman movies from the 80's were but hysterical freaky circus shows, and the movies from the 90's weren't better.

saw Batman and Robin the other day, as well... worst crap ever, stupid cliché monologues ("muha ha ha, i am so evil"), lame stunts, cliché script, stinking acting... a constant flow of "icy" stinking fucking one liners from arnold... a movie that just reeks of poo. I saw it with a friend, never had that much fun :D

Did you like the first act? I thought it brought the average score of the film down. Also, Maggie Gyllenhal, I think she's an OK actor, but I think she was miscast.

er... where.. where would one draw the lines for the acts? for me the film was a bit dead only after they caught the joker, but right after he broke out it became awesome again.

she wasn't bad, it's just that everyone around her just put on such an awesome performance.

The Halloween remake was wank..... let's try and explore Michael Myers' troubled background, yeah great idea Rob Zombie.

The biggest problem with Hollywood remakes is that they always try to explain things that don't need any explanation.
