I wish I could play through Chrono Cross, I got like a few hours into it and I couldn't play anymore...I have the hardest time playing RPG's nowadays.

Gothic II, its an open ended RPG like Morrowind and its in the 3rd person type view with more emphasis on action. I actually liked it way more then Morrowind. Gothic III also comes out this November I think.

I had the exact same thing! I considered getting a new graphics card, but ended up getting an Xbox 360 with it instead.

i can't stand playing games that i've already played on the pc on the xbox. i also feel that in general i just have more control o the pc. game consoles<<<<<<<pc's.

but there's nothing i can do to get oblivion to work except buying a new graphics card?

There's a bunch of tweaks you can try like turning off the grass textures etc, but it's not worth it, you'll have to play it looking like a game from a decade ago. Graphics cards the only real option I'm afraid mate.

there!!!

I finally completed Dragon Quest VIII :P which took me 79 hours first time around and 91 hours in total with the Dragovian Trial + second ending (lv 65) - good game! despite the punishing hard gameplay, the many battles and stupid NPC's, and the way way too long, at times very lame, storyline. But the oldschool approach was cool, even though i like FF's ATB battle system better, on the other hand the oldschool battle system requires more tactic.
This is without daubt the hardest RPG game i have played so far on console, i even had to look on the internet for help, else i would have been stuck and been dead meat several times, plus i would never had started hunting for Metal King Slimes :P (30.010 exp each (10-15 kills per hour, yummi yummi).. yes i'm a nerd right now

Right now I'm playing:

Devil May Cry III: Special Edition
Final Fantasy VII
Guitar Hero

I'm sure it's been mentioned, but Guitar Hero is AMAZING...if you haven't played it, check it out.

I can actually play and still love it. It might have something to do with a certain tobacco substitute I'm smoking while playing it. It's become a mainstay of my social 'gatherings' :D

Yeah, it's a fantastic party game that everyone can have fun with, even people that've never played any console games before, that's what's so great about it.

I'd like to learn, but I don't have the self-disclipline. So, I'd rather play Guitar Hero.

poser...

actually all you have to learn are power chords, and you can play most metal rythm guitar. just the same shape that you take all over the neck.
