i saw that on the shelf today and thought it looked intriguing.

The Fall - beautiful and emotional movie. it reminded me of The Fountain because at times i was like "eh..." but overall is was like "fuck. wow."

SAW TWILIGHT!!!!

So I knew it was going to suck, and it didn't disappoint. But it wasn't absolutely the worst thing ever. I mean, the book is much better. But character wise, they got everything spot on, which is awesome.
It was SOOOOOO cheesy. Not as adorable and romantic as the book, though.
It was really witty, but they should probably work on the parts that need to be serious for the next movie. Everyone bursted out laughing at the more serious parts.
but I am not ashamed to say that I was one of the girls to squeel when Edward (Robert Pattinson) made his first appearance.

One of my friends was dragged along to see that movie with his girlfriend. I pity the poor bastard, and any poor bastard who was stuck in the same situation.

One of the best movies ever, that. Only film that has me near to tears at the end.

I enjoyed DPS too. Great film.

Quantum of Solace - Not bad at all. Worth watching. 7/10

American Psycho - Wow, this was a fucked up film! I'd say this is Christian Bale's best performance ever, as he makes the actions and words of the protagonist seem completely natural despite the fact that they don't make sense. I don't think I got the ending, though, maybe because I started watching it at midnight. 7/10

Christian Bale definitely should've won an Oscar for that film. Amazing performance.

Snow Angels - Great movie. Some humorous moments, but for the most part great acting, intense, and very well made. 8/10.

Tropic Thunder - lame (and I'm a Stiller and Black fan)

Master and Commander - for the millionth time. Such an amazing movie. 9.5/10.

Just recently seen:

"I Am Legend" - okay I guess. It started out very exciting but then faded towards the end.

"Whisper" - could have been one hell of a movie if it weren't so "The Omen" rip-off and so saturated with the classic "creepy houses & evil children pretending to be nice" atmosphere.

BUT.... someone said something about Christian Bale and "Dead Poet's Society". As I'm a fan (of the man), I have to ask: Is that a good film? :D

Bale isn't in DPS?

I enjoyed Tropic Thunder. More for Downey than anyone else.

Ooops...My mistake. But you guys were talking about Christian Bale and how he deserved an oscar for a particular role? Which? (I only ask this because I'm too lazy to back into the conversation to find it out myself) :P

I saw Mirrors. The horror flick, not bad at all.. I wouldn't have found it scary if I saw it on DVD, but since I saw it in theater, it was a good watch.

Another one I saw yesterday was Perfume - the story of a murderer. Highly recommended for Crime/Drama fans! Very nice camera work, awesome storyline and the lead actor really does justice to his role. The ending could have been slightly better, but its good enough to keep me thinking about the film...

Hmm... seems like this movie gets some very mixed reviews. Saw "Casino Royale", but didn't think that highly about it. Not much of a Bond fan, I guess. Liked the older ones when I was younger.
