Apparently leveling up gradually increases the capacity.

What? I'm quite sure my carrying capacity always have been maxed at 300, and I'm level 16 right now. I may be wrong though.

Weird, mine is 310 at level 10.

EDIT: I just leveled up and added ten points to stamina, I got 5 more carrying capacity... a bit strange that this isn't mentioned anywhere.

Oooh, OK. I've never touched stamina, hence my carrying capacity has stayed the same. Good to know. Makes sense too.

OK, dragons are clearly triggered after having slain your very first one at the beginning. Already met another, über cool. Saw him far away and rushed towards him.

Textures are often ugly. I can wait to see mods with HQ textures. Probably wont bother with them until next year though. The game's awesome as it is. Even the many details I don't like don't annoy me much. That's when you know a game is great: make the list of wrong/cheap things, then see if you care. You don't? OK, the game's great :)

I'm planning to buy Skyrim for my PS3 while I get a more powerful gaming PC. IGN gave a score of 95 to the game... it must be good, it better be...

Now playing: New Assassins Creed. Good times.

Ha! It's like hoping the sky being blue, or wondering if Noodz is a cutie-pie. It's fantastic, even with all the numerous imperfections. I am probably going to play the whole thing twice without installing a single mod, so don't worry about your PS3 version.

I fear that it might be graphically inferior to the PC version.

Console Skyrim = medium PC settings, which is more than OK. Frankly, in-game you forget about graphics.
An apparently big difference between consoles and PC are loading times, though. They're longer on the xbox, I assume they're the same on the PS3. On my 2-year old PC, the average loading time is 2-3 seconds. Expect them to be significantly bigger than that, but outside cities they're not an issue anyway, so...

Just slew my third dragon, part of a minor quest I picked up in Morthal. The first one I tackled on my own, too.

This game is just fantastic.

That's what I feared... I'll just think I'm playing Morrowind :P

Just killed my third too, on my own too, way up North not too far from Dawnstar. The icon remains on my map, he must have been one of those non-randomly generated dragons... To say I'm having a blast would be a massive understatement.

Alex: as you wish friend. You'll get your hands on it eventually anyway, with mods, and cheap too! Just don't get spoiled :D

You have to trigger them by beating your first one during the main quest. I've been playing for 20 hours without a single dragon encounter, because I totally ignored the MQ first. Now I think I've played 30+ hours, and already beat 4 (which means 4 dragons in 10 hours, that's fine by me).
I love the fact you can play this game without having to kill dragons. You just have to ignore the MQ. Dragons are fun though, randomly generated ones are completely not scripted. Awesome. And, shouts are damn useful in combat.

Can't wait to be tonight.

Go to Whiterun, follow Irileth and her guards to the Western Watchtower (I think that's the name). Fight the dragon there and afterwards you 'unlock' the encounters with the rest. Or head up high into the mountains, plenty of dragons have their lair there. Depending on the type of dragon your successes will range from fight for your life to certain death, though.

Dungeon Hunter Alliance is a cool little hack n'slash that will do me nicely until I get Skyrim ^^

Dragons. Dragons everywhere.

The only upside of being unemployed is Skyrim. :dio:
