One of the most original RPGs Ive ever played. Too bad I missed out on this way back in 2000.. Im glad they at least re-released it so now afterwards I'll be ready for Silmeria on PS2.

Daxter

Killer platform adventure game, not as good as the main Jak and Daxter games but not to far behind.

I dont care what anyone says: PSP >>>>> DS

i talked to a cousin of mine today and he said that his PS2 is all fucked up, and he's probably going to have to get a new one.

i realized that everyone i know who owns a ps2 has had to buy a new one. what is it with this substandard quality?

oh and silent man, the PSP sucks horribly. expensive, uncomfortable and slow loading. nintendo completely RULES portable gaming.

Slow loading? Worse than Ps2 yes, but I fail to see how waiting 3 seconds for something is really all that annoying. I own 9 games so far and not a single one of them has bad loading.

As for comfort, I find it very comfortable.

Expensive? Yeah, but who cares, I'd rather spend an extra hundred dollars so I dont get stuck with a system filled with Nickalodeon Toons kid shit and "innovative" mini games that are fun for 30 minutes. Why buy a DS anyways, they will just release a whole new system 6 months down the road. And then a year later they will release a system so small it should have warnings for parents not to leave it around their kids else it be swallowed and charge 150 dollars for it.

No, Im sorry, nintendo bugs me. They try to innovate and thats ok with me but they have yet to create ANYTHING that interests me (with the exception of Zelda for the Wii, I want that). Im just sick of all the Marios, all the Mario remakes and all the Mario mini game games.

Also, Im mainly an RPGer and the only company that has delivered solid and consistent RPGs is Sony (And I dont mean Sony themselves made them all, I just mean Sony as a system, all the way from PS1 to PSP, their systems have had the best). Not trying to sound like a Sony fanboi here.. I plan on buying a Wii and then a PS3 like a year or 2 down the road..

But back to the point, no matter what anyone says PSP >>>> DS

I've had the PSP vs. DS debate a few times, and I say DS, simply because the PSP tries to be a console but isn't good enough to do it. The ported console games suck horribly, and the PSP doesn't have enough good exclusive games to even compete with DS. On the other hand, the DS has games that are made for portables, and in my opinion portable games should be the kind that you can pick up for half an hour, has some fun, and put back down. The only good game out for PSP right now is Valkyrie Profile...

And I'm playing Killzone right now. Have had it for awhile, and I beat most of it but then put it down for one reason or another. Going back to finish it up...best FPS for PS2 IMO.

Welcome to 2006. At work we get calls from stores all the fucking time with someone saying, "Um, register 2 is running slow, it's taking like 5 seconds to cash out a sale."

Seriously. What are you losing by waiting 5 seconds? It's ridiculous how lazy we've really become.

I've owned all of the Nintendo handhelds over the past 14 years. I own 3 games. Ive owned a PSP for less than a year and I own 9 games. Maybe I dont like handheld style gaming? I dunno, all I know is the DS has zero games as good as both Metal Gear Acid games (games that can be picked up and played for 30 minutes), Kingdom of Paradise (a game that can be picked up and played for 30 minutes), Gripshift (a game that can be picked up and played for 30 minutes), Daxter (a game that can be picked up and played for 30 minutes), Untold Legends: Brotherhood of The Blade (a game that can be picked up and played for 30 minutes), not to mention there is Valkyrie Profile, Lord of Rings Tactics, MLB 06 The Show (this game could just simply not be done as good on the DS due to graphics), Popolocrois, Lumines, and Exit. And coming soon LocoRoco and Metal Gear Portable (which is a continuation of the story from MGS3 and how Big Boss builds his fortress and army, again, a game that just couldnt be done well on the DS and this is the kind of handheld gaming I want).

So again, PSP >>>> DS

I've gotten a M-M-M-MONSTER KILL and WICKED SICK. I rock.

it's also fun playing with the big head mod and floating corpses and slow motion death.

I just play on a sniper server because I'm too slow for the death matches. I get my ass creamed even worse in death match.

I recently got Guild Wars factions, and loved the fact that it rewards skill rather than endless amounts of gametime like warcraft does! So until Neverwinter Nights 2 and Gothic 3 come out, this will keep me busy!

I'm playing Chrono Cross all over again, after 3 of 4 years I guess. Gotta love those Squaresoft RPGs soundtracks ...

Very good game indeed. Although I prefer Chrono Trigger more.

I myself am a HUGE rpg fan and own pretty much every game Squaresoft has released on PS1 and PS2.
