Try Aja's first major film: Switchblade Romance- Brutal and Creepy. Although it does involve small child death.

The House on Haunted Hill last night. It was OK, prolly a 6/10. Some creepy moments ruined by genuine shite every now and again, plus the generic all action ending of Hollywood horror.

That other bird's pretty nifty too.

I saw V for Vendetta last night - infinitely better than the trailers made it look, but I think it did catch me offguard a little bit (I was a little drunk, and it caught me in the sentimentals a few times). The most pleasant surprise was the lack of Matrix-isms - they were still there, but so much less than I had feared.

I just like his facial expression, that's all. Not up there with Dali, though...

As I say, if I'd watched it without the grip of alcohol melancholy on me it may have been a different story...

There were certainly a few awkward moments along the way (after about the third scene involving the two police guys talking in that office you realise they're going to spend 95% of the film in that one room, etc), but Hugo Weaving totally pwns the screen in any shape or form.

He's enjoying it. He doesn't care if it's a punch, it's good enough to be touched by His Hand.

It's quite sad that you need to drool at a Dutch woman because all yours are shit!

Watched Donnie Darko and Gummo last night. While Donnie Darko was a pretty good movie, Gummo was just completely fucked.

Interview with the vampire. Pretty good, though im reading the book and there are quite a lot of changes. And its weird seeing Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt as the vampires!

The DVD stopped working for me about ten minutes before the end, annoying. Does Christian Slater get turned into a vampire?

Worst ending ever.

Honestly. He was sitting around in alleyways for two hundred years and didn't understand the concept of artificial light.
