Ugh.

RW: The Savages - great performances from Hoffman and Linney (as usual) and great, often subtle look at aging and parent/children relationships, but it does drag a bit in places and feels about ten minutes too long. Good film, not a great one.

The Village was my favorite of all his movies. It had a decent message without becoming too ridiculous to express the twist. The same could be said about The Sixth Sense but I just didn't like that movie as a whole. Signs was tolerable but was forced and definitely failed in using the awesome actors that he had with Gibson and Phoenix. Oh and Gibson isn't an awful actor, he's just no Liam Neeson.

Unbreakable, Lady in the Water and The Happening are entirely rubbish. Horrible use of great actors (Giamatti, Wahlberg, Jackson), poor dialogue, awful plots and horrible directing.

Has anyone watched any John Waters flicks?

Not a movie, but I just watched UFC 92.

I only got 1 of my picks correct. I lost $10...

The trouble with Sixth Sense was, once you knew the twist it became unbearable. Other 'twist' films like, say, The Usual Suspects, you can rewatch, because they make getting there enjoyable. TSS doesn't. And Haley Joel Osmond (or wtf his name is) must be the least talented child actor since Mack-kawly Caulkin.

Unbreakable wasn't bad, I thought, not least because it didn't rely on as ridiculous plot twists as the others. The actual twist is a lot more typical thriller 'my god, it was him all along!' stuff.

I've seen that Waters one with Selma Blair as the enormously-breasted stripper, forgotten what it's called. I think he was trying a bit too hard to be shocking, so it didn't really work for me, especially since it wasn't particularly shocking (grown people! talking about sex!). Plus, it had Jonny Knoxville in, and he wasn't deliberately hurting himself and laughing about it, so major fail there.

Assault on Precinct 13. From 1976. Useless acting, extremely annoying sound effects, lame plot, slow and boring. I enjoy other Carpenter movies but this was just terrible.

A Night at the Roxbury. Speaking of bad acting... :D But here it's fun, and I had several good laughs during the film. A proper B-movie classic.

The Dark Knight for the third time. It's still marvelous and I keep seeing new details and things I did not notice before.

The Dark Knight, for the 5th time. Love this movie, one of my all time favourites. There is not many movies I can watch 5 times in less than a year and still enjoy it so much.

Night of the Living Dead 3-D - well I had to ruin to the awesomeness of the Dark Knight by watching this crap. I haven't seen the original, but now I do to see if it is as bad as the remake. The same song playing throughout the entire movie gets quite boring.

The 1968 and 1990 version are amazing. Two of the best zombie movies ever, obv. the '68 version was.

Stepbrothers. What a fucking retarded movie. A few quality laughs spread throughout but overall it was simply too retarded.

My kinda movie.

Burn After Reading - at first I was like pretty meh, but it got better. and I was like holy shit when Brad Pitt got killed.

The X-Files - it was ok, nothing fantastic. Wouldn't see it again.

The Green Mile - I always wanted to see this again for the first time, if you know what I mean. It was pretty good, but it could of done with less cheesyness.

Yeah, that movie rules. One of the only movies I like Nicholas Cage in.
