well, in that competition my 'work' was described as: "Absurd, humerous and well written stories about ordinary days in the ordinary lives of ordinary people. I am thinking though to post a thread with my latest column.

EisenFaust, i was told that the luxury industry never goes through a crisis. i've noticed this as in portugal prices have almost doubled on a number of fairly essential goods (while salaries grow no more than 2% a year) yet you see tons of new mercedes, bmw's and porsches on the road, and luxury restaurants still need reservations to get tables (etc, etc).

then i saw in some magazine a watch that cost over 120.000€ (enough for a decent apartment fairly close to the city), and apparently it had a waiting list to buy.

it's a bit sad how some guy can go and get that while his employees struggle to make ends meet.

last exam (for the first phase... 1 week break now, and after that 2 or 3 exams in 5 days), law, went terribly. i needed an 8/20 to get a 10/20 average (i.e. i'd pass the subject), and yet i have a feeling i won't get more than 6 on it. i don't get the point of a subject where even the best students have to cheat to pass (and sometimes fail anyway). is anyone gaining anything from this?

also my club Benfica played (and won 3-1) tonight, so yeah, we had 2 good reasons to go and get pissed tonight. sangriaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Board. It's been snowing non stop for 3 days now, I can't get out, schools out, the lights and the internet goes out sometimes. Quite nervous. Tommorow is my first exam and i've been studying for it the whole week. Stayed home most of the time because of the freezing temperatures, as if i'm gonna go out in -20C. Now when I'm finally summarizing all the stuff i've learned... I feel as if I know Jack and shit and you all know where Jack went.:cry:
