The Wrestler - I literally took a shower after watching this movie. I felt sticky and dirty watching it. Not a good movie to take the family to, but the acting is top notch. I'll give the acting a 9/10 and the movie a 6/10 just because I felt they went a little over the top with the sleaze factor. Then again, I think that was their point.
This post makes me excited about seeing the movie.

Speaking of nasty, did you ever see Driller Killer?

Yeah, I saw Driler Killer a long time ago, then bought it on DVD a few years back because I couldn't remember it very well. Actually, only got halfway through then got distracted, and have never got round to watching the rest

Tropic Thunder - not as good as hyped, the Tom Cruise bits were just retarded and Steve Coogan was underused. Could have had more of the best thing about it (Robert D. Jr) and less Ben Stiller, but all in all, not bad. American comedy seems to be realising that it can actually be funny.

The Passion Of Joan Of Arc

Absolutely remarkable. One of the best movies I've ever seen.

Finally saw Memento. What an awesome, mindfucking movie. I definitely need to watch it again to catch many clues and things I'm sure I missed the first time.

yeah. Christopher Nolan is awesome!

I really wanna see that movie! And I too think Nolan is a fucking genious (he's one of my favourite movie-makers just because of The Prestige).

EDIT: Saw 24: Redemption yesterday... not that good. It felt a little rushed.

Speaking of Nolan...after 2000 attempts I finally finished The Prestige last night. Holy fuck does this guy know how to do anything but make really really really good movies?

I was expecting a lot from "The Prestige", didn't like it.
"Taken" was fun, but it's one of those movies that when you finished watching you erase from your memory forever.

Pride and Glory - couldnt finish it because of time, but I definitely will. I liked it except for the "oh know she has cancer" moments.

An American Carol - Mr. Zucker you have not aged nicely...

If he is not doing a movie with his brother and Mr. Abrahams, then it's not worth seeing.

Righteous Kill. Pretty decent overall. Can't go wrong with those two even though the story was a bit so-so. No proper surprises, by the end we three who watched it just nodded and said, yeah, we know already.
