Why shouldn't we keep from criticizing other forumite's choices?
Arguing about ART is part of this forum's purpose actually.

If you were a little bit more tactful maybe there wouldn't have been a problem but saying the shit you said without some sort of objective reasoning was at least to me a bit spiteful.

Indeed, a forum is a place to express opinions. MS likes to bash people (especially Frigid), but the doesn't like to get bashed... if you live by the sword, you die by the sword :dio:

Oh for fucks sake you comparing this to Frigid. Frigid is an annoying broken record who constantly trolls around here there's a difference and I'm not the only one around here that slams Frigid anyway so don't fucking single me out.

So are we going to continue this stage play or what? Notice I didn't say anymore after DI requested to drop this but you guys wanted to continue on.

Are we going to post more art are more arguing?

Félicien Rops' vision of "La Tentation de St Antoine" is quite different from Dali's. More cartoonesque dare I say, by certain aspects even darker.
I obviously favour Dali's over this one but this is a great painting anyway.

You don't apologize on my behalf, DefIn. No way.
He posts crap (in my view), crap is what he'll get (from me).

Oh it's not your fault if anything I should apologize to you for running off at the mouth and hijacking this thread it's just I'm passionate when it comes to certain things that's why I was set off but from this point on regardless I'm done arguing with anyone for respect to you and this thread and if I get involved in this thread it's just to post art.

Couldn't agree more! The guy is really annoying, keep slaming him 'til death, I'll help you!! I never said you were the only one, in fact, I think almost everyone (me included) have bashed Frigid sometime. I would love to see Frigid and Adveser fight in the Circus Maximus. I bet on Addy!

Crap it's just too much. It's not bad, just cheesy, like Power Metal, and you know I like Power Metal a lot. We need some cheese in our lives sometimes, especially you, being french and shit :P

Yeah, I admit I was going too strong.
I still think it's one of the cheesiest (borderline disgusting) things I ever saw labeled as "art".

The more I look at this painting, the more I like it. From crucified barbara there, to skeleton christ, to our bearded friend at the bottom (caption = "Holy shit, a pig!") it's designed for dark senses of humour. Bravo.

Being civilized and being purely critical are two different things. Being diplomatic is an art itself!

Yes, I lost myself in it for quite some time the first time I saw it.

I liked the second painting, the traces are strong and fierce.

Being one of older people here I would expect more from you. But I guess I was wrong and you are indeed another French man. I was optimistic and thought the snob thing wasn't true to all French people but I suppose it is true to a certain extent. The French have culture but no manners, whatsoever. Then again I had French girlfriend and she was fine so it's not a thing with all French people.
