Ok, let's see how well I know you.

Tankard, Overkill, Black Sabbath, Kreator. Those are the easy ones.

Then probably Trouble. And..(I'm guessing now)..Threshold?

And the one you have an interest in is....shit. Darkest Era?

Damn, that was harder than I thought. How'd I go?

Tankard, Overkill, Kreator, Black Sabbath, Trouble, Destruction

extra being Seasons of the Wolf.

Seasons of the wolf would be great without all the prog nonsense, they'd make one hell of a heavy metal band.

So weekend summary:

Friday: GF came home after a week away so we chilled in our appartment
Saturday: Visited my family and had dinner in the evening before gaming Tekken 6.
Sunday: Me and my brother went for a serious hike. About 25km in the mountains surrounding Bergen. The weather was horrible, with hailstorms and rain. My quads are so fucked it's not even funny. I need a massage. Oh well, when we came down we ate dinner at my place, and had some beers watching soccer. Good times.

Oh, there's some stuff most people would be too embarrassed to admit they listen to coming up. I knocked out about 25 songs in less than 24 hours, which means everything I tried was a success, so I kept going. Definitely having more success singing pop than metal for various reasons which revolve around my insistence on matching the vocal tone.

I don't know what song you are talking about. I like an average of about 1 new pop song a year and have for the longest time. I noticed around the mid-90's that very few good pop songs were coming out and noticed that the classic rock station started playing a greater concentration of quality material, which was not so a couple years earlier when pop was more uniform and diverse "Classic rock" was regarded as dinosaur rock because they played very dated material and yet to streamline their playlists into the cliched redundancy that is playing Led Zeppelin 60 times a day.

I like highly commercial Pop from about the time disco died until adult contemporary fell out of fashion, which is about from 1980-1996, so me doing Madonna and Amy Grant is not out of the ordinary. The problem with Madonna is too many of her lyrics are written in a way where a male can't sing those lyrics without sounding like a total fag or completely ridiculous.

Yeah, you "chilled". I'll bet there was plenty of "chilling" all night long.

I know what you mean. I'm jewish (supposedly - don't belive in religions), and if I ever have to hang out with another jew, I think I'll have to kill myself.

YES!!! lol. I've been failing to be as productive as I needed to be, but I have written about three of eight pages for this essay. Going to watch the Reds Game 2 tonight. Last night was the first time that I really got a chance to just chill with people in my program. It was probably the best time I had out since moving here.

Yeah man. As an Italian we go threw the whole baptism, communion, confirmation thing. But I'm not a fan of religion. At all. Any religion. Luckily my father and what I call "the south Philly crew" are mostly criminals. So they are cool to some extent but just so stereotypical Italian. Haha they are like cartoon characters if that makes sense. Everybody is dressed mainly in black with all their gold on. It's kinda silly. But at the same time these are guys you don't cross either but I still find it funny.

All night they were talking about growing up and the old gangsters and the different gangs. It was actually pretty entertaining. This was the first time I saw most of these guys since I got out of prison so that was cool. I had to fend off a bunch of prison questions though.

Yeah my family is fucked up with a capital F. :D

That's kinda awesome. A friend of mine lived in East Philly last year and on her way to the subway she used to pass this Italian restaurant that always had chairs out in front which nobody touched. At some point, she met the old Italian guys who sat out there each day and they used to chat her up. At some point, they invited her to a get-together at the restaurant and she brought her brother. He slipped up and mentioned the word mafia and everybody jumped in his case like "what'd you say?". I giggle at the story, but it might have been a bit scary for him.

Haha yeah I could imagine that he might of been a little scared. There isn't a east Philly but there is northeast Philly. And there are quite a few Italians up there. I wonder what the restaurant was called... I may know them.

I know exactly what you mean. I know some seriously fucking sterotypical Jews. You know in South Park how Kyle has that lame cousin who's also called Kyle?.....Yeah, 'nuff said.
