didn't see any match except for BENFICA's, but Henry scored a great goal. he's an absolutely PHENOMENAL player, if the rumours about him moving to Barcelona next season are true... i think "ronaldinho + deco + giuly + eto'o + henry" sums it all up.

Benfica are going to have a VERY hard time at Anfield to pass, but i honestly believe it's possible.

i would be suprised if Henry would go to Barca..the man has a big love for Arsenal, he said it many times and you can see he likes the team, fans, stadium etc. plus barca doesn't need him

Barca needs any great player they can get, Henry's great = they need him

as for Henry's love of his team, Vieira said the exact same thing, that didn't stop him joining the Juventus (and I'm pretty sure there are plenty other examples throughout the football history, especially these last few years)...

Probably not, but want is often just as important as need when it comes to a club of the stature of Barcelona - they like to be seen as a club with the world's most prestigious stars playing for them.

Real Madrid play that game too of course, but at the expense of building a solid team.

exactly! that's the biggest weakness of teams like Madrid. They bought Robinho(together with Ronaldinho the best new players Brazil have to offer) a few months earlier, and imo,he doesn't perform that good. He would be so much better if he stayed in a less 'celeb club' for a few years longer. Take Ronaldo in his prime years, did he begin at Barcelona? No, he started at PSV a Dutch team and thereafter went on to Barca, and he was, let's face it,the best player back then.

Real Madrid are big idiots. They've become a player eating monster over the years. A lot of talent is being wasted and sitting on the bech because of them. They fails to see the giant hole in their defense and their crappy goalkeeper but they keep buying forwards, what way to manage a football club. Fuck Real and clubs like them (Chelsea and whatnot...)

he did an amazing job with Auxerre, no question about it.

as for Barcelona, they have star players, but you can't deny that besides "star power" they are also excellent players, unlike RM who got overrated players like Beckham etc.

Giuly, Eto'o, Deco - they are all excellent but you can't say they were as big back when they were signed as, say, Figo and Zidane when they went to RM.

and considering Arsenal's bad shape this season i wouldn't be surprised if Henry joined Barcelona - probably better pay, a league he hasn't played in before, and a brilliant team to back him up.

and Chelsea... STFU! Mourinho built an awesome team, and tell me about ONE Mourinho-era signing that's anywhere near as big as the transfers RM did.

He almost joined St Mirren on loan from Gremio to make up the months until his transfer to PSG was completed. That would have been awesome.

Plus Lorenzo Amoruso pwned his ass when PSG played Rangers a few years ago.

Del Horno was wrongly sent off... changed the whole game.

well, they are both great teams, so either way it'll be a good show in the quarter finals, no matter who passes.

Quite a good result considering we went a goal down inside 7 minutes (via a very silly penalty given away by Dado Prso). We played quite well in the first half and conceded two goals, and got outplayed in the second only to score a lucky goal. Go figure.

This guy scored a brilliant goal:

As my father is English, he still follows the Premier League religiously. He is a Liverpool fan thru and thru.
Me, i cant really get into it. The World Cup is good, but thats about it.

I'll just stick to Australia's version of Football (Aussie Rules) Image Carn the Doggies

And the American Football (NFL) Image

Go Dolphins
