Exactly. If you want to be a pagan, go and be a proper one.

So why eat plants?

I'm not pagan, I'm buddhist

and because plants don't move and have brains and nerves to feel the pain and also because if you don't eat, you die... :D

If animals aren't there to be eaten, then why are they made out of food?

So why does that give you the right to survive more than them? And you can't deny there are health benefits in eating meat in moderation.

because most humans are cold-blooded murderers... human race basically enslaved animals for them to work and be eaten...

I call that a mistake in the evolution of mankind and I have no doubt we'll all be vegetarians in 200 years from now ?

and why not eat man-flesh then ?

I'll get back to you in 200 years (well, my kids' kids'll get back to yours). And humans had to eat meat back then, things in animals they couldn't get from fancy vegan cooking.

yep yep, our behaviour is full of inconsistencies. Another is that we drink milk far after our maturation process is complete which is actively harmful..

just between you and me I get the feeling that humans are a bit thick

We have canine teeth for a reason.

Plus, it's not like the fuggin' Holocaust when it comes to animals. It's not like we abuse them and starve them and beat them horribly. We take good care of 'em, kill 'em, and eat 'em.

Just to play Devil's Advocate, if you were a Palestinian pissed off at Fatah's corruption, you'd vote Hamas too. And hopefully they'll do a Sinn Fein and become a political party. Who knows, it's all very depressing. One thing's for sure - we have to face it. Not them in power, us, the men in the street.

Meh... Human's are as nasty to animals as most animals are to other animals.

The difference is that humans also sometimes help them as well. So in my books that puts us one up on those cocksuckers.

And they help us in return, by dying for us to eat them. How Christlike of them.

Of course sometimes we die to feed them... for every chicken killed for food there's probably at least 0.000000000000000000000001 human beings killed by a shark.

forget the milk being harmful thing, I was misinformed.

but people do drink it long after they've become intolerant. not really as much of a concern as I had thought.
