man, everyone wants this to escalate at this point.. the radicals will take any opportunity to cause a scene and the western hate for said radicals rises at an equal rate to the paranoia. the cartoonists won't back down either, so I guess that as soon as an illustrator works up the courage to depict Mohammed and W sharing a bath then we'll have world war three. so we've got that going for us, which is nice.

but i don't hate muslims in general, i only hate those really cracy braindamaged fundies ( no matter which religion they belong to), who walk around destroying things, humiliating their own religion (misinterpreting) and while making the gap between the west and the east bigger - the biggest part of the muslims are still quite normal ppl, but that doesn't mean they didn't get offended, by these drawings - and i don't understand why the newspaper though it was a good idea to portray one billion ppl's most sacred symbol. And i still regard this as an abuse of free speech.

And now everybody's mentioning world war III. People are making conspiracy theories because the cartoons were published months ago but nothing happened until now. It's like somebody went there and fired up all the muslims about it. I dunno, this is what I heard.

that's true. i think it was about 20 danish Imams who believed it was a good idea to tell the story to rest of their gang. Unfortunatly, they forgot to tell it accurate. - no big surprise we want to throw them ( those 20) out of the country.


But that was after the news paper was found non-guilty of blasphemy. somehow it's only illigal to make blasphemy when it comes to christianity in Denmark.
