Well, guessed that one completely right (Anaheim in 5). Poor Luongo. Sorry to see Vancouver go, but Anaheim deserved to win this series.

Yeah, that sums up my feelings too.

I feel kinda bad for Luongo because if the rest of the team weren't so completely useless he could have easily carried them through the series.

I wasn't far off on that one either (Anaheim in 6).
I knew Luongo would give the ducks a rough time, but the ducks offense was just superior in my mind, as well as the Defense which has 2 Norris contenders Niedermayer and Pronger.

Now I'm hoping for the Sens to hit that last nail on New Jersey's coffin and hoping for Buffalo to bounce back.

I was glad to see Anaheim win (sorry Canucks fans), and do it fairly quickly. If the SJ / DET series goes 7 though I wonder if they'll be rusty at the start of the next round. That's the only reason I could see for them having trouble. I hope SJ gets their series in 6 anyway though; I really hate the Red Wings.

I wish NJ would win, but I don't think they will. I have to wonder how much the (stupid) personnel change has hurt them. Even if Buffalo takes care of NYR, I don't know ... I have a sinking feeling the Sens will beat them to go to the Finals. I would much rather see the Sabres there, but...

I really am starting to think it will be Ducks vs Sens in the Finals.

Who do you guys think it will end up being based on how it looks right now?

Granted, Luongo is still much better off in Vancouver than he ever was in Florida.

I'm cheering on Senators now. Go Canada!

I say it's going to the Ducks vs. either the Sens or the Sabres. But I feel that Anaheim will have a hard time in the confernece final against either Detroit or San Jose. Since I hate both Buffalo and Ottawa (mandatory for a Leafs fan) GO DUCKS GO!

Buffalo win 5-4 and the Rangers are done. Ottawa vs. Buffalo in the Eastern Conference finals. Again.

Everything is going as I have foreseen.

Now hopefully Detroit will destroy Anaheim, Ottawa can destroy Buffalo, and then Detroit can take the cup.

Now I know you like Detroit, but any man with common sense will know that the Ducks are going all the way. Ducks vs. Sens for the cup.

I think that Anaheim will win this series in seven. But to think that its no contest is quite idiotic; Detroit has been playing amazingly, and Hasek has finally been giving the good goaltending. They definitely have the potential to beat Anaheim.

hey now hey now...

I know Detroit will be a challenge for Anaheim, but now Anaheim has superior defence and they have great scoring talent. Yes so does Detoriot in both of those categories, and Hasek is finaly playing the way he use to but Schneider is out and Chelios is old. So it's pretty much all up to Lidstrom. Where Anaheim has Neidermeyer, Pronger and Beauchimen. Plus Selanne is one of the best in the NHL and McDonald soon will be to. To finish my useless rant, Anaheim also has 2 superior NHL caliber goaltenders and both have playoff experience. And both have playoff experience this year. Anaheim also currently has the best playoff record, 8 wins and 1 loss. Can't complain with that.

3/4 for my second round predictions.

My predictions this time are that the Senators(6) and Anaheim(6) will be the two teams to head to the finals.

Buffalo played awful the whole game. This will be a short series if they continue to play like that... :lame:

I take it Buffalo lost. Last I saw it was 3-2 Ottawa.
