. If, however, you actually hate the country and the majority of people in it, you get elected to public office.

Roll your eyes all you want.
Can we do this in a civil manner? I think so. We teamed up in the prostitution thread if you remember.
First of all, evidence that Obama hates the majority of Americans. By majority do you mean white people?
I know you don't mean rich people because 90% of the country's wealth is only in 10% of the population's hand. 10% is by no means a majority. I don't think you can mean the middle class because that vast inequality can't possibly make room for a middle class? The middle class would make a middle range of the poorest and richest. Poor being around $15,000 a year and oh what's rich nowadays? $500,000 or maybe an even million? No middle class person makes something around the midpoint of those two quotes.
Maybe you mean Christians. Well, Obama is a Christian and that's contradictory. Unless you think he is an Al-Qaeda subscribing Muslim. If you think he's a Muslim then I'll just stop and give up on you. If you think he is a sleeper cell agent, I'll pray for you. Not literally because I have nothing to pray to. But it's a good phrase.
You might mean people that watch Fox News. That is who Obama hates. I don't think he hates those people. I think he hopes those people would educate themselves rather than listening to an often times one-sided megaphone.
Maybe you mean creationists. I don't think evolution supporters hate creationists. They pity them.
Now, maybe you could choose one of those options or elaborate your own.
Now I would like to point out that your Sarah Palin, Republican representative whoever might "hate" a majority of the population as well. They might "hate" atheists, communists, Liberals, evolutionists, homosexuals, blacks, latinos, the poor, the working class, public option supporters, college students, foreigners, immigrants, Jon Stewart, transexuals, the very people who vote for them, etc. Now am I wrong? Let's say Boehner, McConnell (both are minority leaders), Palin, someone from the right was to be elected. Could I say they hate all those groups? Kanye West said it about Bush towards black people. The Right didn't appreciate that. Was Kanye West wrong? Yes. Did Bush fail to do his duty for a large portion of that section of the population? Yes. Not because they were poor, black, living in the bad side of town but because they weren't his constituents. They weren't the people that got him elected. Those people were the ones who watch Fox and those people who own the businesses of America.
Do I think Obama would leave behind an entire portion of the population? No. Does he target certain ones? Yes he does. Rightly so? I think so. You can disagree but it doesn't mean he hates them.
Good day, sir. Cue 'The Coming War'.
