Jack black is alright in High Fidelity but Cusack's performance is awesome and riveting. He's the one who makes this wonderful film work on so many levels.

I saw Watchmen. It was pretty good; not amazing, but definitely not bad. I'm happy I saw it, and they really nailed a lot of it, especially the characters of Rorschach, Doc Manhattan, the Comedian and Nite Owl. And the ending is so much better. The guy who plays Ozymandias is awful though. His accent changes at least 4 times throughout the movie; he pretty much sucks most scenes he's in dry.

Role Models - funny. it kinda tails off at the end, and is an all too familiar ending. but funny nonetheless. best line "If I suggested a game of quidditch to my kid, he'd probably cum in his pants."

What Just Happened - couldnt finish it, but from what I saw it seemed to be pretty good.

i liked the alternative ending, works better than that fake alien invasion thing they had going on. imo ideally i was thinking using doc manhattan's technology for an independence day-type thing but hey this works too, even if i don't see how the ussr and the usa could take on doc manhattan even working together.

what's with Ozymandias' 3 or 4 accents, though? lol.

Watchmen - i didnt even want to see this, but last night it just happened. and man was it good. the people who dont like it probably just dont get it. I also have a reason to see it again, as I missed the first 15-20 minutes.

Saw watchmen last saturday. I love the book and this is as good as it will get but I still felt a little disappointed. I don't understand why people are freaking out about the "blue cock". I think critics who pan it for that are just too fucking immature to review a movie. I think I went into this one with wayy too high hopes.
