Watched I, Zombie.

Man this film was depressing! I was already downhearted when I started watching, and by the end I was nearly suicidal.

Watching Eraserhead as I types. for the first time. For some reason I'd never sat down to watch it before.

Holy crap though.

Damn both of those look depressing as hell. Here is another gem of soul crushing sadness, true story.

Did you get the feeling something was missing?

They moved quite quickly, and it was rather subtle. But more good than bad, so...

What did you feel was missing?

I don't know. That intangible "something" that makes a good film great.

I see what you mean. Not sure I'd want to watch it again, desoite more-than-decent cast.

A History Of Violence - Over-hyped crap.
Goldeneye - I'd forgotten how shite this was.

Why are films so rubbish? :(

I had no quarrel with A History of Violence. I loved the whole "how did you fuck that up?" scene. The rest was enjoyable but still kind of "meh". But then I really am not a big Cronenburg fan.

PS: I hate Bond! Bah...

Agree on both. I'd have enjoyed A History of Violence a lot more without all the hype. Also the music sucked, Howard Shore is not suited to this kind of film.

If not for the blood and Maria Bello's legs, it would have been a right snooze-fest.

The best interpretation I've come across so far is that it's mainly a metaphor for Lynch's fear of fatherhood. That kind of works, I guess, although I can't remember where I read it. Otherwise I just like to think of it as a series of freaky images and grim ambiance :)

It made a better game than movie. I haven't cared for Bond ever since Sean Connery though. Sean just has that untouchable coolness about him.

Oh fuck me, it's a Lynch movie?? I still hate myself from that time I sat through Mulholland Drive.

And yes Sean Connery owns every other Bond wannabe.
