Really? I thought the opposite. I found the Old Fella's story, besides for its ending, to be pretty slow and overdrawn.

It didn't really grab me so I left it at about the half of it. I'm going to read it all over again when I have the time, probably in summer.

It's good, but subtle. Remember that it's satire...

War of the Worlds is in my top 3 foreign books, this looks like its gonna take a place in the top 10. The movie ruled too. (not wotw, 1984 ruled)

I have had it for about 2 months now, didn't start yet but if you say so then maybe I'll start right after 1984. I'm an utopia guy, I'll make mine one day that everybody worships me and the world is made out of ice cream. Or chocolate........

or both.

War and Peace, I'm not kidding...about halfway through now, It's like climbing uphill.

And 1984 is one of the best works of literature in the history of humanity. In my humble experience of course.

War and Peace is an incredible novel. A lot to take in, but one of the best books I've read. 1984 is also a classic.

Orwell was a brilliant man. I'm going to go home and watch my TV that the government is secretly watching me through. Faggots.
