And, yeah you continously insult Americans, for this or that, I think the last time was because of some shit band named brokencycle or some bullshit so, climb off of your high horse before it crumbles and falls on top of you. Face it and be honest: you do it because it makes you feel superior, somehow... the only problem is, it's not edgy anymore, so maybe you should find another trend to jump on.

I care because I'm an American and it's my country too. I care because America has the power to direct globalization in ways favourable to all of humanity. I care because I care about the truth. I care because I care about ethics, and about keeping children free from indoctrination and dangerous dogmas. I don't regurgitate words, I think critically about the information that is presented to me and try to find the most truthful version. I don't criticize because it makes me feel superior, I criticize because some things need to be criticized. So don't try and diminish my arguments by insinuating that I'm an asshole on the bandwagon.

Um. I'm pretty sure it's a well-documented fact that the American educational system is desperately sub-par when compared with European ones. Not to detract from the Universities, of which many are among the finest in the world, but as far as public schools go...

If you're going to question the merits of education, then I don't see how this debate is any longer productive. You can't acquire knowledge without a system providing the means, resources, and intellectual guidance to teach.
