Football is rugby for pussies.

I'm excited, the radio station will be going back on-air soon. We have our first board meeting tonight. :D

More skill and strategy is required for football.

Hell, no. It takes a lot more strategy to figure out how to move the ball forward when forward passes are illegal and a lot more skill to safely tackle when you have no pads or helmets. Not to mention the stamina required to run for 80 minutes with only a short halftime. Stopping the clock my ass.

Football requires strategy for plays and skill for certain positions. I do not doubt rugby's brutality and stamina, but it doesn't say much to lateral the ball backwards and run up field. That happens in football as well. Rugby is more tr00 yes, but football takes more skill, memorization of plays (hundreds of plays), and communication.

Now, I’m off to drink beer and watch football.

Football doesn't have line-outs, scrums or half the bizarre rules rugby does. I guarantee you that rugby has more plays, and requires more communication.

I guess I don't know enough about rugby to make such a statement. But, I do know that it does take a lot of skill, dedication, and strategy to play football, despite the idiots you see playing the game.

In regards to that, GO STEELERS! *waves yellow towel*

(My dad's from McKeesport, my paternal grandmother now lives in Pittsburgh. I have a Steelers sweatshirt that I lived in back when they were in the Superbowl the last time around.)

You lived in a Steelers sweatshirt? Must have been a rough part of your life.

It was. All those cold desert nights with nothing but a thin layer of cotton to protect me and my family from the herds of marauding scorpions.

I hoped you cleaned your living quarters with the leading brand of detergent.

Ok, that wasn’t funny. Go Steelers here to.

1. Anything goes…within reason. NO nudity. NO porn (especially Asian porn). NO spam. NO blatant racism. NO gore. NO excessive flaming or bullying. NO trolling. Most importantly, use common sense. You know what is acceptable and what is not.

My cold seems to be clearing up after only a day. My immune system crushes you all!

I've also rediscovered the joys of drinking lots of water. 1 litre drank today so far.
