It says rather a lot for my Twitter following that in regard to #lessexcitingbandnames, "Goldstein" got no retweets and "Have A Safe Trip! Black Emperor" got four. Bloody hipsters.

so in the Lisbon metro there are several blind beggars, the most famous of which is known as "Ceguinho do Hip Hop" or "Ceguinho Rapper", "ceguinho" being the diminutive form of blind guy. he taps his cane rhythmically and rap-begs and i once gave the guy €0.5 just because he's so awesome. when he doesn't get any money he curses everyone on the train for their cheapness. tell me the dude does't have talent:

apparently u2's "achtung baby" was released 20 years ago. portuguese radio wouldn't stop reminding me of this fact.

i honestly fail to comprehend what on earth makes u2 so fucking special. it's a fucking boring band with boring songs that only stands out from the crowd thanks to their exceptionally shitty singer, who also happens to be a total fucking asshat. man, do i hate u2.
