The Daytrippers - Good Woody Allen-ish movie. It was great seeing Parker Posey's boyfriend and the mom get told towards the end; even though it was fairly understated it still felt like a hammer of the fucking gods crushing the annoying characters.

Crank 2: High Voltage - it was too over the top. I understand that they are suppose to be crazy and over the top, but this was too much to be enjoyable. There was some good moments, they were just ruined by some horrible WTF moments.

I liked the first Crank movie, and I can name other out there/wacky movies that I like. But when they get too stupid, like Punisher or Crank 2, I can't stand them.

Seen Up a few days back. Great film, predictable but so much good stuff that it's hard to dislike.

Just finished Orphan. I enjoyed it alot, apart from the ending, and what a star that little 12 year old Isabelle Fuhrman is. MMMMmmmmmmmm mmmm!

Exactly. Speaking about Punisher Warzone, if the thought of Jimmy McNulty doing a crazy accent with horrible facial scars as the baddie vs Titus "Suck My Cock" Pullo as the goodie, both killing people in wonderful OTT ways, doesn't pull at your entertainment bone there's something wrong. It's an action film, they're at their best when silly.

Thing about Crank 2 was it was a bit too nudge-nudge wink-wink, the first Crank still had some semblence of kidding on it was a serious film and failing miserably, which is half the fun.

Taken was badass. It kind of had that vibe about it, but to a much less serious degree. Like, it's got Liam Neeson, this is Serious Business! Uh, no, it's Commando 2: Matrix's European Vacation.

Speaking of cack (was I? Ah well...), Mortal Kombat was on last night. Cripes, did the Reptile CGI ever look good? :omfg:

And it's still Citizen Kane next to the second one. :lol:

Now that's the epitome of hilarious unintentional cinematic fail.
