Once more then, just to be in with the crowd...

1. Apocalyptica - Harmageddon
An awesome song from an awesome album, before they started getting in mediocre vocalists to ruin everything

2. Miyavi - Ashita Tenki ni Naare
This guy's generally considered batshit, but his acoustic stuff like this is brilliant.

3. Old Man's Child - Felonies of the Christian Art
The bald dude from Dimmu does things better on his own to be honest.

4. Sanguinus - Ouraborous
A half decent local band until the split up.

5. Lumsk - Ormin Lange
Proggy folk metal.

6. Darkthrone - Canadian Metal
I'm not that much of a fan of Darkthrone, this song's kinda funny though.

7. Lake Of Tears - Cosmic Weed
Lake of Tears are fucking excellent!

8. Amorphis - Two Moons
Sweet opener for that album.

9. Mario Galaxy Orchestra - Rosetta's Comet Observatory 1
Mario Galaxy has a great soundtrack :).

10. Flood of Rain - Karmatic
Aussie dude who makes some awesome electronica/metal. Kinda split the two of them into separate bands now, but check him out.

11. Changer - Recaptured Insanity
Not too sure what to make of this. It's alright though.

12. Dååth - Subterfuge
Not bad, one of the better American bands to surface in recent years.

13. Dissonant - Lust
Pretty cool Israeli death/prog band.

14. Iron Maiden - Rainmaker
New Maiden stuff's alright too.

15. Eths - Atavhystérie
Probably one of my favourite albums now, great song from it.

16. DGM - Eternity
Prog power at its best :D.

17. Iced Earth - Burning Times
Ya know, I really need to listen to these guys more often.

18. Rammstein - Mien Teil
Loved Reise, Reise. Every song on it was brilliant.

19. Fellsilent - Double Negative
Pretty good Meshuggah worship.

20. Ishiwatari Daisuke - Feedback
Opening theme from Guilty Gear XX. Aother game with an awesome soundtrack.

21. Ishiwatari Daisuke - Haven't You Got Eyes in Your Head
So much so that it gives me two songs from it in a row...

22. Mercenary - New Desire
This album wasn't a patch on 11 Dreams, but still good nonetheless.

23. Angantyr - En Falden Kriger
Tin can tastic....

24. Therion - Summer Night City
An awesome cover song :D.

25. Trama afonA - Forgiando Gli Echi (Intermezzo)
Ambient stuff. Really good too.

A new one with comments then.

1 Mar de Grises - Onírica
The best song on the album, excellently written and executed. I can't the girls I've enchanted with this one

2 Aura Noir - Swarm of Vultures
AN's earlier works are nothing short of excellent, especially this live outtake. Unsettling dissonance.

3 David Gilmour - Deafinitely
From his first solo album, I think. An instrumental interlude before the last song on the album kicks in, psychedelic hammond and guitar leads trading off for four minutes and a bit. Fun.

4 IXXI - Sectarian Trance
I find the album a bit strange, not much substance to it, all over the place in a bold but not entirely succesful way. This song is a showcase for it, bounding over several genres.

5 Solefald - Where Birds Have Never Been
Excellent band, excellent album, nothing more to add.

6 Pink Floyd - Another Brick In The Wall (part 3)
I tend to skip most of The Wall, too much interludes and storytelling bits.

7 Ulver - Dead City Centres
Ulver's best, but I've gotten bored with it. Fun to put on on a rainy night with a glass of whiskey at hand, though.

8 Skymning - ProKill
Opening song to a fantastic album. Industrial metal without any electronica or samples, perhaps a bit too 'coreish for some.

9 Karl Sanders - Luring the Doom Serpent
A fantastic track, especially the percussion part lives up to the track's name perfectly. Great for having sex to, as well. :P

10 Volbeat - Maybellene I Hofteholder
Yegh, I regret buying this, too commercial.

11 Nasum - Ett Inflammerat Saar
A fairly standard Nasum song (which means it's excellent), shame about the crappy production.

12 Deathspell Omega - Procreation Endemic
From Manifestations 2002, which in my opinion holds the best tracks from DsO's pre-SMRC period.

More to come later.

1 - Ella Fitzgerald "Manhattan"
You can't go wrong with Ella.

2 - Genesis "Counting Out Time"
Cool pop song from The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway (Great album).

3 - Sense Field "One More Time Around"
The only bearable emo-pop/rock band. Actually, I love 'em.

4 - Hellhound "Warriors of the Rising Sun"
Meh. Quite boring aggressive power metal.

5 - Pink Floyd "Wot's... Uh the Deal?"
I like when Pink Floyd turn down the spacey-edge like on that little ditty from 1972's Obscured by Clouds.

6 - Fugazi "Long Division"
That song is just... GREAAAAT!

7 - Aereogramme "Wood"
Nice indie/post rock.

8 - Arno "I'm not into Hop"
The belgian Tom Waits, kinda...

9 - Valkyrie "Green Highlander"
Old school heavy metal, not bad.

10 - Aquaria "Firewings"
A sub-Angra kind of band but still pretty enjoyable if you like that kind of thing (I do).

11 - AIR "Le Soleil est Près de Moi"
Cool moody trip-hop/electro pop from that French band.

12 - Peter Gabriel "Solsbury Hill"

13 - Ali Farka Touré "I Go Ka"
African folk/blues, me likey.

Meh.

15 - Heaven & Hell "Bible Black"
Best song from the album. The only one that can become a classic, imho.

16 - Chroma Key "S.O.S. (Sun Orange Small)"
Boring synth pop from ex-Dream Theater keyboardist.

17 - Dredg "Information"
From their latest and poorest album, s'okay but nothing to call home about.

18 - Elliott Smith "Baby Britain"
Stellar folk pop from this dearly missed artist. Great song too.

19 - Robot Lords of Tokyo "Belly Full of Greed"
Funny stoner metal but just funny.

20 - King's X "Stay"
It's okay but I still like their earlier material better.

A classic.

Christ, was hoping this thread was dead.

1. The Cure - 10:15 Saturday Night
barely listen to these guys, only have a singles collection. This seems ok, however.

2. Psycroptic - Slaves Of Nil
woo tech death from darn undah. Great stuff.

3. The Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band - Tent
I get a weird kind of pleasure from knowing that I'm probably the only one who genuinely likes these guys. Stefan checked them out back in the day and couldn't stand it. Probably.

4. Fanisk - III
National Socialist Black Metal! The cover for this album has a black sun, making me think it was all cool and shit until I realised the black sun was censoring a swastika! The music's decent though, all atmospheric and shit and twelve fucking minutes long.

5. Alice In Chains - Junkhead
Neato song.

6. Cypress Hill - Stoned Is The Way Of The Walk
Even more neato song!

7. Melvins - Teet
From a classic album. Great stuff

8. Chequerboard - 20th Century Artillery
Melodic instrumental stuff. Never properly listened to these guys.

9. To-Mera - Phantoms
OTT Prog Metal stuff, with lady vocalyst. Good good.

10. Queens Of The Stone Age - Battery Acid
Never heard this song before, nice to know they're still tough on the listener.

11. Acrimony - In Other Wor(l)ds
Doooooooooooooooom. From their split with Church Of Misery, great stuff.

12. Ethernal - Colossus
Random British Black Metal. Better than average, I hope the band gets it together and goes somewhere.
A
13. Regina Spektor - That Time
Female singer-songwriter that's actually pretty cool. Not ashamed of this at all.

14. Anaal Nathrakh - Submission Is For The Weak
Yeah, the goat is down with the extreme all right.

15. Evanescence - Bring Me To Life
Christ, not listened to this in years. Still all catchy and shit.

16. Anacrusis - Still Black
Thrash!

17. Alec Empire - Gotta Get Out
Atari Teenage Riot dude gone solo.

18. Miles Davis - Concerto De Aranjuiz (Part One)
Culture, bitches.

19. Cruachan - Bloody Sunday
Didn't know I had this. S'okay.

20. Stonesour - Blue Study
Haven't listened to this in a while. OK catchy rock stuff.

21. Ministry - Breathe
Great track from TMIATTTW.

22. Akercocke - Seduced
Riffs!

23. Manes - My Journal Of The Plague Years
Great stuff.

24. Fear Factory - Dead Man Walking
More metal than their album stuff of the time.

25. Burzum - Chanelling The Power Of Souls Into A New God
Ambience!

More varied than I was expecting. Good show!

The Ministry album is called The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste. Mr. Zadok thinks it's Waste, I was correcting him.
