Never said it was better; it's just not the same.

Is telling people what they can and cannot do really protecting them? Especially if they do those things anyway in a less safe and less legal environment if the government draws the line? Not just this but back alley abortions and drug cartels will still happen regardless of the legality of the action, and those are far more dangerous than their counter parts.

Looking back on it, the .ppt was for prostitution and escort services in general so the salary applied to male escorts and while female escorts, like Heidi Fleiss for a well known name, can make a lot she still falls into the subordinate role which all female prostitutes must suffer through while males not so much.

Laws are a form of protection just like your parents' condemnations. They can't prevent anyone from doing what that individual insists on doing but they represent what the community desires. If back alley abortions persist and drug cartels are formed, there are larger social issues to be addressed. We're not on the same page so I'm not even going to push this.

This view that it's the job of governments to change society in such major moralistic ways is so ridiculous. Leave the moralising to religions and make evidence-based policy decisions.

Erk. I feel like I have to hover in the background, wringing my hands admin-style at the posting of something I have no wish to click on, but unwilling to take the drastic step of editing your post.

Fair enough...

I was hoping maybe my warning was sufficient reason to allow it, though I only posted it for humour's sake so I'll delete it if that's what's wanted.

Erk. Now I'm being hoist by my own petard - my lack of desire to see a nasty video shouldn't mean my censorship of another who might. But can do so in a more appropriate setting... Would you say it counts as hardcore, because that violates the forum's rule 1? If so, delete.

There's no sex. It's a lady burning a guy's cock with an iron.

What, deliberately? Trapt should be up in arms, women being paid to burn men with irons in a shameful way that reminds them of the woman's traditional housewife role!

Why would someone feel embarrassed that they paid to fuck someone that looks like a pinup? Really? Like if they would try harder they could get it for free?

Outside of the higher class fetishistic prostitution which the ensuing posts showed, prostitution is steeped with physical/emotional abuse and rape from their clients, not just their pimps. And before Frig runs here and says prostitutes can't be raped because they're whores. It's not uncommon for women who want to only do non-intercourse to be raped and then threatened or beaten to prevent them from telling their pimp. If they have no pimp then they have no recourse against that individual due to the social status of prostitutes and the perceived unlikelihood of her getting any help from the legal system.

Oh, wait, and here I thought we were only going to make it legal for ugly prostitutes. If the hawt ones are included then by all means, open up shop.

Some of you guys just amaze me with the things you say.

If it were legalized, you'd remove pimps from the equation and solve the problem. A month ago a prostitute in Switzerland filed a restraining order against some guy who kept visiting her, stalking her outside of her working hours, and even wrote her into his will. Weird. The police intervened and she's fine now.

Supply and demand. Hotter whores are more expensive.
