I'm not bragging here, I don't think I'm that metal and I don't care if I'm metal at all, but compared to what people say that's unmetal about them, I must be fucking Lemmy or something. I got it all! I never noticed this. Except the musical bit, I do like other genres.

I've got long hair
I smoke
Do drugs
Drink every night
And Treat women like shit (after i got what i want )

but on the non metal side

I havn't been in a fight for years
never been arrested
Don't often ware black or band shirts
Have no tatoos

Now, while I understand your anger, please reconsider lumping in doom with the other "girly" man genres. Obscure doom has more in common with black than any other genre, and I'm sure you know suicide black metal has some roots in obscure doom. Afterall, I have to defend the continuity of my namesake!

i used to go to one as well, and the only reason i'm not still there is because i'm in college now

truth be told it was an excellent school, and not once did any of the people there (teachers i mean, the kids were something else entirely), many of them connected to the jesuits, pressure me or any student into their beliefs.

I don't know about anyone else, but to balance out my politics and love of pretty flowers:
-I have 24 inches of hair (though that doesn't count quite as much)
-my wardrobe consists almost solely of metal shirts, black pants and black steel-toed boots
-I'm a metal DJ and the metal director of my college's radio station
-98% of what I listen to is metal
-I have the sense of humor of an overly-educated frat boy (I crack up to both "The Miller's Tale" by Chaucer and Beavis and Butt-head)
-I love playing metal really loudly when I'm in my car and singing along and headbanging at red lights
-I love going to shows and really throwing myself into it - throwing up the horns, hollering, the whole nine yards

i've come to the conclusion that my wardrobe has way too much black, especially since i feel silly when I wear all black.

First of all I have to say that Intelligence is a big part of metal. A lot of bands have very intelligent music and lyrics! As for other stuff, I do drugs, I don't drink (don't like it), I use to have long hair I shaved it just for a change and it's growing back now. I wear a lot of black and less Metal t-shirts nowadays but I love them nontheless! I mostly wear them when I go to concerts. I do believe BM has hidden meanings to life and anyone oppose to it can't take extreme music and face reality. Any one that doesn't like Iron Maiden has to give them a second thought. I love philosophy, Astronomy, History, Mythology, Cosmology and poetry and that is all metal. I absolutely hate ignorance, commercial and Accessible music and limitations :evil:
