And no, Az, Stefan did not ask for it. If everyone puts up with Ken, Ken can restrain his finger from editing posts and acting the fucktard general.
I did use to care about the forum but have all but given up on it mostly for the reasons you and Rio have already stated.
We all have moderator powers to a certain extent (editing, deleting) but using them unnecessarily just makes the site look unprofessional. If someone was posting nazi propaganda then I may step in, but aside from that it's an internet forum and people are entitled to have their say even if it pisses people off. Nothing's stopping people responding in kind if they don't agree with a comment. This however is not the view of everone here.
As for Stefan, I thought his widespread musical knowledge was a good thing on the boards, unfortunately him and Ken didn't get on and Ken won. To be fair if I frequented a message board and got my posts covered up with that sort of banner by a mod I'd probably stick two fingers up and make tracks too. I'll miss his prescence in my browsing of the boards but good luck to him anyway.
