I don't know what this poll means other than nothing.

Huckabee and Romney are going to be forces in the coming race; with luck that moron Palin will be defeated and the general election won't be a laughingstock.

I understand your desire for a short-term electoral gain, but how is a nomination from one of the two only real parties of a person like Palin a sign of anything other than our decay as a society? Palin's nomination would be the ultimate triumph of 'personality'--the complete and final domination of style over substance, and it would echo beyond party lines.

It may, in fact, be tantamount to breaking the 7th Seal

I'm already convinced of that fact though. Case in point, Glenn Beck.

All of them would be horrible choices for any office, though I am firmly convinced nothing trumps the last two devils.

Comparing the guy who started wars in two different countries costing thousands of lives to the guy who (if you frame it this way) wanted to take a lot of money and give people lackluster healthcare rather than no healthcare at all seems a little ridic.

But when the guy perpetuates the wars of the last guy, continues the Corporatist bullshit engendered by the last guy, perpetuates the same REAL ID, Patriot Act, Military commissions act draconian pieces of legislation like the last guy, and trumps the last guy in Federal spending then you make the logical conclusion he is just as bad if not worse.

But Glenn Beck doesn't have the unadulterated support of one of the two greatest political establishments in the country, he's just a dumbass talking head. Palin would clearly be the worst Presidential nominee in history; if I am a sensible Republican and see Palin get the nomination I would consider seppuku.

This is a nice surprise, thought the arsehole would get away with it -

http://www.thejc.com/news/israel-news/4 ... uilty-rape

Don't forget what Putin said to Olmert about this...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moshe_Katsav

"Say hello to your president. He really surprised us... turned out to be quite a mighty man. He raped 10 women. I never expected it from him. He surprised all of us. We all envy him."

The man's beyond caricature.

He liked We, The Living as well and Mein Kampf. The latter is contradictory no matter what you think but the former is most definitely so he obviously isn't the smartest tool. Plus just liking an Ayn Rand book is kinda repulsive in general.

The hateful political rhetoric in the US is at a fever pitch, what did you expect? There are many 'whackjobs' out there who take that kind of talk to heart. Public figures should really be more responsible.

The Pima country sheriff described Arizona as the 'mecca for prejudice and bigotry'.

I like how Trapt thinks We, The Living is worse than Mein Kampf.

Duh, my homestate is the Leper colony where all of the neoconservatives are banished too. How else do you explain crooks like Brewer, Mccain, and John Kyl? Not to mention all of the reactionary kooks and teabaggers who run around, this state has been fucked over many times by them all

Well, at least Mein Kampf doesn't make any pretensions to being just and progressive, nor does it trap impressionable idealists with a mis-interpretation of Nietzsche. In today's world, an Ayn Rand book is far more dangerous than anything pro-nazi. Hitler is no longer a threat, unlike the Koch brothers.
