Yeah, I did--those songs kick ass as well.

I played Final Fantasy XII for about three hours last night and it looks to be the best Final Fantasy ever...the cutscenes are amazing. I REALLY like the new battle system--much more exciting.

Battle for Middle-Earth II

Very good, lots of improvements but they left out a few good things from the first game.

my sister is back and... no suck luck :(

there were like 2 gamecube owners in England anyway, and both of them have probably moved on to the new generation anyway, so it was kind of hard to find stores that stocked the games in the first place.

Just got the nintendo wii, what can I say, it's the ultimate multiplayer experience! It takes competition to a whole new level!

Meanwhile I'm still melting away with neverwinter nights 2, best damn rpg I've played since the baldur's gate series (ok maybe second best because arx fatalis rocked. well maybe third best because there's also gothic involved. and also... oh well it's still darn good!!).

And btw...

13 DAYS TO THE BURNING CRUSADE!!!

I heard that with the wii you can download EVERY game ever made under the Nintendo name, even Sega games (as Sega now works for Nintendo)....

...does that mean i get to play Mike Tyson's Punch Out again? :D

...i never could beat that ear-biting bastard...though i did go the distance with him once or twice

Onto another subject....

Madden '07 :dio:

i love it, i love, i love it

I'm doing the franchise mode when you can control a team, on and off the field, for 30 seasons. Being the madden freak i am, i am using 8 teams...one from every division.

...speaking of madden freaks....if anyone also has Madden '07, this website may appeal to you

Civilization4.

Awesome, I'm way ahead of everyone and the soundrtrack is pretty cool. Killing guys with arrows with my cavalry to Beethoven's Pastorale is cool.

I love that game. So very many hours wasted.

Oh, and the Wii is the coolest thing ever. My friend brought it over and its about the most fun I've had with video games since.. Well, since about a month ago when Twilight Princess was released for Gamecube. But it was still really cool.

I decided that I'm gonna try and finish some of the unfinished games at the bottom of the pile, including: FFVIII Guitly Gear X2, XIII, and God Of War.

Thats a fuckin awesome game. Pretty hard too, but i managed to finish that a few months ago. Unfortunatelly Ares is rather easy to beat...i expected him to be tougher...for a god.
You fight him in 3 stages. Stage 1 is you and him in the ocean, then you have to fight off clones of yourself while protecting your family, then once again, have to fight ares again.
My advise, use that blade...i cant think of its name, but upgrade it to the full and go slide n dice on that mutha fucker.

The 2nd time you fight him, with that blade, it should take no more than 5-6 hits, in a row if you can get them in before he hits you.

Indeed, amazing game. I found it was abit to easy though, I beat it in 8-9 hours 2 days after I got it. Part 2 comes out soon, the trailers look awesome. It might just be one of those rare times that a sequel is better.

I'm mad that GHII is going to 360, with ten extra songs including "The Trooper"!

They get other stuff too (new controller, online leaderboards) but it pisses me the fuck off that 360 gets Iron Maiden and PS2 doesn't...

well, it's a different generation, and the shift from one to another is happening.

it was much worse for Gamecube owners to see games like GTA and Pro Evolution Soccer (personally i HATE it, but just about everyone else thinks it's the best thing since sliced bread) go on both PS2 and Xbox and not come to the GC.
