UFC Sweden in April. I'm going no matter what, the card looks pretty shitty but I'm not picky.

Of course, I watch every UFC event :)

Gonna be a great main event, two guys that bring it.

I think we're the only ones left. Who do you think will win?

I don't know, both of them have looked so good lately. I'm thinking Diaz, but Condit seems more dynamic than some of the fighters Diaz has been fighting. If he can fight a smart game with leg kicks and explode at the right times he can take it but Diaz is just so relentless! Gonna be a fun fight.

UFC 144 this weekend, in Japan...!

Picks?

I'm picking Henderson, but want to see Edgar pull it off.

I'd like to see Bader beat Rampage, but I'm putting my money on Jackson.

Kongo by TKO or decision.

Shields by decision.

Lauzon by submission, but Pettis definitely has a huge chance.

I wanted Henderson to win. After that ninja turtle kick in the first round, I was really backing him. If Edgar had ever capitalized on grabbing Henderson's kicks and actually stopped him from returning to that move so often he might have had a chance.

Don't like Rampage and was glad to see him beat. He is just too old and slow. Bader wasn't impressive but he put up a fight. That piledriver, though, was probably the most awesome thing I've ever seen in a match. Bader just bounced back so quickly though after having his face planted in the ground from three feet in the air.

I wanted Kongo to win but he is such a sloppy kickboxer. Weak but Hunt's no joke.

Quote:
Shields by decision.
Akiyama's judo was badass. That time he stepped into Shield's stride to trip him was awesome. It just came out of nowhere.

Lauzon bitched out with that novice move swatting at the kick. All he had to do was pull up his arms.

As for Hioki v. Palaszewski, Hioki was just technically superior and his jab was just lighting the Pol up.

And Boetsch was a badass. He had the same issue as Palaszewski, just being generally outmatched but that single punch that sent Okami on the run was awesome. I don't know just what fucked with Okami to such a degree. He was seriously spooked and it was over after that.

I can't stand Bader.. I want him to get humiliated in every fight. I don't know why, something about him and the way he fights just makes me mad.

UFC Sweden just 6 weeks away!

Kampmann has the reach, but Alves has the power. Both men are experienced, but Alves has fought for a title and has fought against former champions. I pick Alves by decision.

I'm gonna pick both Demetrius Johnson and Joseph Benavidez to win the opening matches of the 4 man Flyweight tournament. Main reason being, I don't know anything about McCall or Urushitani.

Lastly, I pick Philippou. He has huge one punch knockout power. McGee is no joke, but can he take the power that Philippou will be packing? I think not.

I do. I just never have time to watch it. A bloke from my dept and I went to BW3s and watched the fights and got loaded on beers. Good times. I know no one on that UFC Live fight card. Eh, I'll be busy anyways on Friday.

@Tompa: Bader is kinda douche-y so it was rather enjoyable watching his face get planted. Jesus, that was beastly.

A new weight class debuts on friday, 125 lbs, should be exciting.

The lower weight classes are so much more interesting. Much quicker, athletic and technical it seems.

Rumor is he may be fighting former PRIDE Welterweight and Middleweight champion, former interim UFC Light Heavyweight and Middlweight champion, and former Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Dan "Hendo" Henderson. Who knocked out Fedor in his last heavyweight fight.

Dos Santos by TKO.

Dos Santos is just a monster and I really only saw Overeem as actual competition. Maybe Henderson will stand a chance. I don't remember him enough to know. The thing about Overeem and dos Santos was that they were two fucking all-around athletes unlike nearly every other heavyweight in UFC.
