Well I feel really pretty upset, after inexplicably failing to realise that Sunn 0))) with Earth and Malefic where playing near my house.

On the other hand, only a matter of hours before I head off on "vacation". Huzzah!

annoyed at a few little things...
1. for some reason, my left headphone doesn't stick in my ear unlike the right headphone. i kept trying to force it in but it keep popping out.

2. i use the underground to go from home to college and back.
my station is Lumiar, and the college is at Rato.
FOR SOME REASON, ON THE RATO-LUMIAR TRACK, THE TRAIN DOESN'T GO ALL THE WAY TO LUMIAR, BUT INSTEAD JUST STOPS AT CAMPO GRANDE, ANOTHER STATION, AND THEN TURNS AROUND TO GO BACK TO RATO, EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE 5 STATIONS AFTER CAMPO GRANDE!! kinda like this:

x is lumiar, | is campo grande and * is rato. ---- is the line. WHY THE FUCK DOES IT STOP HALFWAY?! so i have to LEAVE THE TRAIN, and WAIT 10 MORE FUCKING MINUTES for the next one. WHY?! WHY?! WHY WON'T IT GO ALL THE WAY?! you can't imagine how annoying this is.

You should get a car

i don't have a driver's license (although i do know how to drive). and since the reason why i don't have it yet is another of the little things that make my life miserable....

3. here in portugal, there's the theory (the rules and stuff about driving) and actual driving to be learned in driving school. but the thing is, you have to pass a theory exam, and while it seems important (and it is), it's also full of USELESS GARBAGE. questions like:
a. what's the maximum speed of heavy vehicles in a highway? (HOW WOULD I KNOW, I'M TAKING A LIGHT VEHICLE LICENSE, WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW THIS?!)

b. is ignoring a stop sign a light, "heavy" or "very heavy" violation?
(WHY DO I NEED TO KNOW THIS?! SHOULDN'T THE FACT THAT IT'S A VIOLATION BE ENOUGH FOR ME TO KNOW NOT TO DO IT?!)

and back to the whole train thing... god damn it's annoying. it's fucking stupid. i'm writing them a fucking letter.

Holy shite dude! Try using public transport in England... Having to change trains is the absolute least of your worries... I have nightmares about being in the middle of nowhere after paying assraping prices, and finding out my train is grossly delayed or even cancelled. Then I wake up and realise it's all actually happening :shock:

London is fucking scary.

When we were down for the Stratovarius gig we managed to get from the airport to Camden via three different trains with no difficulty at all. We thought to ourselves "piece of piss this public transport lark."

On the way back we realised it had been a fluke. :(

Yeah, I'm hoping to move down there in a few months, but the tube is really quite daunting for a hapless midlander such as myself.

I suppose once you get used to it it starts to makes sense, though... My main problem is paying £66 (and rising) per month just to go a few miles to work five days a week, when so often I get to my station on time only to find that all trains have mysteriously vanished between Guiseley and Baildon :evil:

Hmm... maybe punctuality has got slightly better recently, but is that really something to shout about when we consider how much more expensive it is than in the past?

i pay 25.70€ or something for travel between most tube stations and bus travel in lisbon. but see here, train isn't the same as tube, at least here.

but rio, you can't say it's not annoying. i mean if there were a valid reason i wouldn't mind, BUT THERE ISN'T. they just feel like making some of the trains stop right there at campo grande, for no apparent reason.

but yes i admit, the london underground... i've been on it a few times and it's chaotic. we only have 5 different lines so it's no problem here, but you...
