The Omen 666...the remake version released on supposedly the unholiest day of the millenia, 06-06-06.

A far cry from the original masterpiece.

Does Julia Stiles die horribly? If yes, it's a good film.

... mmmmm... 7,5? .. that's the best i can do... i do like DH3, but imo it's not as cool as the first two.. but if DH3 deserves 7,5 or 8 what ever, then DH1 and DH2 deserves 10/10.. and i hate giving full points on ratings

I recently saw "Stay" starring Ewan McGregor and that cute blonde girl. The film is an interesting take on the subconscious of a dieing man.

Marebito - Excellant Japanese make you think horror/insanity movie. Easily one of the better Japanese films I have seen in awhile. Excellant acting, directing and story telling. Highly recommend for people that like Asian films and like to think and draw conclusions for themselves.

This is from the director of A snake in june (almost a perfect movie to me) and Tetsuo for those that care.

Remakes of Asian films usually suck because they get dumbed down for the American Audiance so everything gets explained. That said I really honestly liked the remake of the Ring (Ring 2 sucked as did its Japanese counterpart) and The Grudge which I thought was pretty good. Dark Water I haven't seen yet but since that one is all timer for me I probably don't want to watch the remake.

I hath recently watched the greatest movie of all time. In comparison, all other movies clearly lack what makes this movie so great. It, my friends, is known as Zardoz. Here be some pictures:

As is that weren't enough to make you want to see this movie, here are some quotes:

"Zardoz: The gun is good.
Exterminators: The gun is good.
Zardoz: The penis is evil. The penis shoots seeds, and makes new life, and poisons the earth with a plague of men, as once it was. But the gun shoots death, and purifies the earth of the filth of brutals. Go forth and kill! "

"The Tabernacle: You have penetrated me."

"Friend: We've all been used...
Arthur Frayn: ...and reused...
Friend: ...and abused...
Arthur Frayn: ...and amused! "

Now, if after reading this post, you have not gone to your local video shoppery to purchase Zardoz, then there truly is something wrong with humanity. Zardoz is the first movie I have ever watched twice in a row; it is the funniest thing you will ever see, and it will change your life.
