Anyone else looking forward to this movie after the suckfest that was the first one. From what i've seen so far (trailer, first 5 minutes, pics etc.) this is forming to be a good one and hopefully it will set the series on the right track. I really want to see the predalien kick some human and predator ass.

Btw, this is the new Oomph! single for AVP: R and there are quite a lot new scenes from the movie. I recommend you check it out for the scenes if you don't like Oomph (they are similar to Rammstein). The song is great though so that's a plus for me since i've always liked these guys. Oomph - Wach Auf video

It certainly couldn't get any worse. I'm sure it will still suck ass though. It was an awesome idea for a comic book, but as a movie it's not a very good premise.

I don't like how it is set in a small town. It makes it seem like a zombie movie but at least it looks gory.

Man the first one bleeeeeew.

Paul W(ank) S(tain) Anderson is vying with Michal Bay for top spot on my Hollywood director "Omagod Must Die" list.

Yep, indeed it sucked. But don't forget Uwe Boll for the top spot of your "directors to kill" list. Paul Anderson still had one good movie - Event Horizon.
Did you see the first 5 minutes of AVP: R that leaked ? Man, that thing gave me some hope for this and if the brothers did their job right it might be a good popcorn movie. In any case check the Oomph video.

I must say, I'm excited. This looks to be the all out battle that the first AVP never was.
