So, what is everybody doing for Christmas this year? And please do not let this thread develop into another religious debate. |

Going over to my aunt and uncle's house. We swap every year - they come over with my cousins one year and we go to their's the next. Turkey + stuffing + wee mini susages + beer + trivial pursuit = ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm going to see my girlfriend on boxing day, she's with her parents and brother on xmas itself. So I get turkey twice. ![]() |

Today my dad's side of the family is getting together. Big Turkey dinner and a Leafs game at 7, awesome. Then on Christmas day my mom's side of the family gets together which is always interesting as my mothers side is full of weirdos, but in a good way. So 2 big turkey dinners in a 3 day span. ![]() |

I'm flying back to Greece in less than 2 days where I will be for 10 days. Days filled with meat-eating extravaganzas and crazy and wild drinking nights with friends, cousins and many female friends who have obviously missed me a lot (...or enough!). That IS life... |

I work until 5:00 on Christmas eve, then church, then out for dinner with my family. That evening is filled with various irish traditions and family traditions [watching scrooge, eating food and telling the night before christmas before bed] Christmas morning we wake up at like 9, do the gift thing. Then the relatives come over for brunch. Then everyone leaves, we nap etc. Then to Grandma's for dinner, then more gift opening. omfg no beer, no girlfriend, no sex. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Do the latter first; you'll have a better time. |

And i'm going with my girlfriend on a nice and peaceful dinner, than nicely and politely we will go to church, and then to a MASSIVE Christmas party and get pretty drunk. Than i will wake up at 12.00 and give presents, and probably be sick and have a massive hangover |

Last night was my first of 2 christmas dinners. Last night was my dad's side of the family. I never knew how screwed up the family was until my uncle Steve showed up (4 hours later than everyone else). When he got there then a big argument broke out between him and my grandfather, then my dad wouldn't let my uncle Steve back in the house. It was eventually settled and Steve did come back in, we watched hockey and drank ourselves stupid. I have to work at 9 am on the 24th which sucks, earliest time to start since i've started my new job. I'll get home from work around 5ish then the midnight mass thing, probably be driving up to the country side to go to the same church as the rest of my family seeing as how that is "tradition". On the 25th itself my immediate family (mom, dad, brother, sister, and myself) will do the gift thing, then my grandparents are coming over for breakfast than that night i'm off to the country side again for Christmas dinner with my mothers side of the family, which is always interesting. |
