It's gleefully self-indulgent and artsy, but Legion is still tremendous three seasons in. Fantastic performances and a very entertaining approach to what an X-Men spinoff TV series starring Matthew from Downton Abbey and Aubrey Plaza could be.

I do like both actors a lot, but the subject matter has me hesitant.

Dark season 2 was even better than season 1.

If it helps, I've finished it now and it's remarkably good. Not at all what you'd expect from a superhero show, which it doesn't at all feel like even before you get onto the set-pieces like rap battles or musical numbers. It's from the same guy behind the remarkably good Fargo tv series, if that helps.

The cast covering a Pink Floyd song in the final episode is just one of many highlights. Honestly bowled over by this show in a way I never expected from an X-Men spinoff, and it's easily one of the best tv series I've seen at least this year. Fantastic cast, excellent story, with a beautiful romance and a central protagonist and antagonist deeper and richer than anything else I've seen in a long time. Don't let the whole comic book bullshit aspect of it put you off.

Looks like they cancelled Cops. The only good show on that vapid gaseous wasteland.

Somehow made it through one episode of Obi Wan and have to ask how you people who watch all these Marvel/Disney shows manage it... boringest thing I've seen in ages!

I'm a sucker for all of that shit. And even I am finding the Star Wars stuff tiring.

I don't watch any TV shows but I came here to say that it is good see you here, Kyle, dear virtual friend (I hope I remember your name correctly).

The drop in quality between True Detective season one and Night Country is remarkable.

It has nothing to do with the original writer or director of TD so I'm not surprised really. The True Detective title is entirely shoehorned in.
