i find it offensive and juvenile and if this website expects to be taken seriously by serious metal bands then i suggest this improvement

I don't know about that, it'd be equal to racism. Personally I haven't seen any problems with homophobia on these forums, it's only in the past week that it's been an issue. Most people here seem to be pretty tolerating. I don't see how it would be a problem to enforce a rule against homophobia.

I'd be for it, except like Minty says it would be very hard to enforce. Censuring everyone who says 'fag' would result in the forumites here being even more annoying than they usually are, although why left-wingers like Rio are taking the piss when homophobia is as valid a problem as racism is beyond me.

Of course, we could always just ban Wessex Two Six... then again, banning forumites because people find them annoying is a misuse of power. He'll either fall in line or step over it eventually, leave him be says I.

If it were up to me I wouldn't ban racism on the forum either. As if the only reason people aren't being racist is because it's against mr.com policy. ban this ban that yay
