all of us as metalheads have wet dreams of a tour that you would love to happen. We all go the shows that have like three or four of our favorite bands, but I think some of us have that nagging notion "gee, what would happen if this band would be added to the bill" leaving room to argue that too much is never a bad thing.
What is your ideal tour, or since you have all been alive a bit longer then I have. What tour in the past have you seen that exemplifies your dream tour?

some sort of festival involving Nomeansno, Neurosis, The Mars Volta, Radiohead, Hammers of Misfortune, Colour Haze, Converge, and Biclops

or an instrumental metal tour with Canvas Solaris, Zebulon Pike, Animals As Leaders, and East of the Wall playing, just because instrumental metal is so awesome but not super popular when it should be.

A bit of everything I guess. The Czech festival crast posted is pretty much close to my wet dream. If you add some sludge bands like Neurosis and Isis and maybe some prog rock like King Crimson and Can you got it!

Dylan back when he first turned electric. Must've been incredible, since the live recordings are still powerful today.

Edit: Him on a tour with Ministry, 70s Rush, current Napalm Death, and Sepultura circa BTR. Pure awesomeness.

That was good until you said KISS. Deep Purple would be much more appropriate.

Kiss Alive was and is a badass album.
Say what you will, they were ay their peak in '74, and I would 've liked to have experienced them live (was already on turned onto them through an older kid down the street at the time, though I was a wee slip of a lad of 7 years, alas, too young to go to concerts).
I stand by my statement.

I never got into KISS whether they'd be in their prime or not.

Well, ya had to be there.

You mean:
"If I'm too rough, tell me
I'm so scared your little head will come off in my hands
I got you in the dimestore..."
?
Great tune from a great album from a great performer.

Damn.

As if I got it right the first time, thought I was wrong corrected myself when I was right the whole time, silly me.

I haven't heard BDB in quite some time...

And yes, I guess I should of been there. But that would of been hard seeing as how you are 1 year younger than my father.
