Well, the roles seem to have been reversed. While Star Wars continues to be anal raped by the awful prequels and Clone Wars farce, the new Star Trek looks to be freakin awesome. I've pretty much lost faith in Star Wars the same way that The Simpsons is dead to me.

The Simpsons movie was awesome and the only bad thing about the newer Star Wars was Hayden Christansen being fucking lame. What the hell was Lucas thinking? Everything else is spot on. McGregor is great. So is Portman. I hate Hayden Christansen.

Episodes IV, V, and VI and their awesomeness make up for the lousiness of I, II, and III.

Star Trek just bores me. So Star Wars gets my vote.

+12. I used to read the novels too. Tons of action figures, too.

I'm probably one of the few that enjoyed the prequels. They had the best light saber duels than the original trilogy.

Star Wars. The bazillions of novels revolving around the universe created by the movies totally slay the flicks, btw. Good times.

I never got into Star Trek. First episode of it I watched all the way through was like a year or two ago and I think it's something you need to get into as a kid.

Palpatine and Obi Wan alone make it worth watching. And it's fun seeing Christansen getting owned by McGregor.
