Post subject:  Technology and human labor.

With technology increasing and becoming ever more present in our lives, and automata rapidly joining various industries and becoming part of the labor force. What is the logical outcome of machines replacing our human hands, and with the expanding senses endowed from us upon machines will they ever fully replace us in the workplace? What are your thoughts?

I thought the I, Robot ones were much scarier- because they weren't aesthetically designed to be frightening. They look like Apple robots, smooth, sleek, white, pleasing on every level. That they can just go mental makes them all the creepier.

I love that movie. I need to watch it again.

And I agree with Fridge about the I, Robot robots.

Wall-E has got to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Before I saw the movie I hated the stupid robot. Man, did that change afterwards.

For the foreseeable future, robots

1) Are far too expensive
2) Use too much energy

It's easier just to hire some illegal immigrants.
